Has anyone ever been at a beach, and just gotten pissed for no reason at a group of seagulls?

But then when you reach for them, they just use their magical levitating powers to avoid you. Or then you throw a football at a group of about 30+ seagulls and, although they aren't even looking at your direction, they all magically form a group plan to move the exact distance away from the football without hitting each other and/or getting hit.

Anyone ever actually hit one? I need a success story.

I've actually seen seagull road kill so your theory is off. Nice try though... Its strange though, seagulls fill all my child hood memories, on my walk to and from school, there would be multitudes of them in the fields. They would paint the fields white with dropping all over the place

No, seagulls are awesome, as long as they don't steal my food. Feeding them is fun.

Seagulls are the ddevils of the beach. You so much as drop a crumb of food near your foot, a hail storm of wings and beaks will anihilate anything within a 3 inch radius of that crumb. I hate them.

In high school I hated seagulls because a flock flying above you usually meant bird bombs being dropped on somebody.

They're easy to hit if you lure them in with food.

This principle applies to most things in life.

I think they are worse than cliffracers. I have been pooped on by one of them before, on my shoulder at the beach. Luckily I was wearing a shirt, cause I think there poop has acid in it, not as powerful as the ones from Aliens though.

I think TC has issues. Very dark, very sad issues. Often harming (or attempting to harm) animals is the first step of a serial killer.

If birds flying around in their natural habitat makes a visit to the shore 'unbearable,' perhaps the issue is more with you than the birds?

I don't think you know how bad it is in UK seaside resorts. They have no fear and flock around anyone with food or even sit on a lampost and eye you up for a while and they crap everywhere.

Hahaha, now I have the image of flock of seagulls harassing suspecting people maybe cornering a dude, making comments like "Whatcha think you are doin' 'round 'ere boy." brandishing knifes and ****.

I live in a seaside town so i absolutely hate them, had to destroy dozens of nests/eggs when they tried nesting on my roof till they gave up, they made it impossible to sleep past 5am. Some people take it too far though, when i worked at a local waterpark as a teenager some kids used to put fishing hooks inside chips and tie a line to the hook then attach the line to a lampost.... What you got was a bird that took off, flew round and round on a rapidly shortening line till it was tied to the lampost.

I once caught a seagull while fishing. It was a little frightening actually. The seagullwent after the line and it got tangled around it's one leg. I tried to reel it in, but obviously a flying frightened seagull isn't easily reeled in. So I did the only thing that I could do, and cut the line.
