all the scary movies are in the '80s-'90s.. i'll have to say The Langoliers by stephen king.. what made it scary? ok youre on a plane.. you land on a deserted airport. everything is dead, even the beer and food. in the distance you hear an eerie sound, a couple hours it starts to gradually get louder, come to find out its some kind of demonic creatures that are hungry for YOU! its a scary movie.. should check it out.
anything with ghosts, zombies or demons scare me.

Never seen this one... looks nice! (scary plot, at least)
Not a movie, but a television show. Boo-Bahs.Oh, is that that kid's show with the weird colored things? I hate that ****.
Self explanatory really.

I gotta go with Event Horizon. That film had a great combination of atmosphere, psychological scares and physical/gore/jump scares. Just a great and underated scifi horror film overall.
If you haven't seen it, rent it some time and watch it in the dark by yourself. It will scare your c*ck off.
Honorable Mentions :
Alien
The Ring
The Shining
how old is ^^that one? or when did you see it?Thread-Thief
Event Horizon?
I saw it when it hit theatres, which was 1997. I own the special edition dvd now, watch it at least a couple times a year. 8)
Here's a link to a few clips from the film :

a movie called The Woman in Black....saw it when i was like 10, i had nightmares for months...still gives me the chills when i watch it...it's about this woman that was killed in this village and whenever she appears a child dies....she's creepy cause she never talks, just stands there out in the distance or up close.....she has this pale green makeup and never shows emotion during the whole movie...just thinkin about it is creepy

yea..creepiest part is she doesn't physically hurt them....to me the creepiest villains are the ones that are silent
Really I have yet to see a movie that scares me. And I've seen most horror movies. (yes, even the ones you can only find on the internet) but one thing's for sure : gore isn't scary. Even the most over he top gore scenes won't scare me. Gore is just.... I dunno, but it's not scary.Timesplitter14
The Shining (Kubrick version)
The Haunting (the original one from the 1960s. the Jan Debondt version was more of a comedy than a scary movie)
The Omen trilogy
The exorcist (only the first one)Â

I'd like to add cube. saw it last night .. damn !

What the exorcist did for me only lasted one, maybe two seconds whenever they flashed the demonic image so briefly in the film. Horror flicks, let me see if I can pick one older than yours that still gave me chills.
k, The Abominable Snowman of the Himalayas. Man that one brings back memories. And to add one that just creeped me out, another oldie, Suspiria.Â

Not quite the storyline. I wouldn't call the Langoliers demonic, they just *SPOILER BECAUSE YOU CARE AND NEED A WARNING LOL INTERNET*Â erase the past, it's what they're there for. The main characters were just unfortunate enough to be asleep as the plane drifted into the past.
The movie is scary because of the writing, for the most part, what of Stephen's vision was left intact. The Langoliers themselves should have been animated better, they looked so horrible it practically killed the film for me. Read the original story sometime though, good stuff.
The scariest movie, to me, was probably Audition or actually Eraserhead, I found that film really disturbing.
