Saying weight in public

I'm bored and was just thinking how silly I think it is when people get so embarassed to tell their weight in a public place. It's always the cute little joke that you shouldn't ever ask a women's weight...and everyone learns this unwritten rule and never questions it.

BUT isn't it really silly? Your weight is written on your buttocks. If somebody is overweight you can usually tell... there's not really an effective way to hide 50 lbs so people can see it. I don't know...just something that bothers me.Are wereally so insecure that we can'tgive them a number to the mass that is sitting right in front ofthem even though EVERYBODY can clearly seewho is skinny and who is fat.

what about that age thing women do like they say thy are 30 when they are actually 32 it just's soo silly to lie about that and can cause problems

Because women are usually unhappy about their weight, even if they're fine.

I had one girl in this big group of people I was told to weigh while working one time, and she told me not to say her weight out loud like I was for everyone else.

I was like lolwut.

Yeah saying age is another thing too but that one is understandable to me because age can be hard to determine a lot of times. Weight is just something that's right in your face and you can't hide it. Why is somebody embarrassed to give a number to something that is already known.

I used to be 98 pounds back in the dark days x_x (~7 months ago), I'm 63 kg (~140 lbs) now though ^^

:shock: 5'9 135 lbs?? That's the recommended weight for someone my height at 5'5(male). I'm 5'5 and weigh 165, but I'm mostly muscle and I work out all the time. Sorry my friend your dimensions reminds me of one of my friends and he also is just bones. Maybe age plays a role I don't know, but I'm 19 if it matters.

Im 15, 5'10 and 180 pounds, though I work out quite often and am all muscle8)
