I'm spending it half asleep thanks to being sick.

I kinda wish we had snow. It's just dark now. Daylight begins after I get to work, ends before I am done at work, made worse by rain all the time now.

How is it in your part of the world?

It’s nice today. The sun is out and not below freezing. We had a lot of snow a week ago and it’s melting, kind of feels like spring. Wife is out of town, so I’ll take advantage of that and get some daylight gaming in.

@horgen: A cat and a dog. Both old. I'll mostly be letting out the dog and then feeding them dinner.

Ah. Guessing they aren't very playful due to their age then. Relaxing work? If one can call it work.

It's Sunday. Playing star wars and probably take the kids swimming or staying inside. It's been like 38'C the past few days.

What kind of course? I'm currently doing one on the Java Spring Framework.

Spent the afternoon/evening at a friend's house where we played games and ordered pizza. Fun times. Then back home for some Rocket League and PUBG action.

The prices at default are £199+ but generally a good 30% of the time they have a 95% off, working at about £14 for courses 15-30 hours long.

Basically just spam bought a bunch of Digital Art courses as I never really learned how to paint properly.

Course is alright, bit slow and the guy seems to ramble on, but overall, really good value on the discounts. Probably use it again for other stuff.

Today is me time day lol.

Gotta wash clothes, clean my room, and prepare for the week. Rest is just being lazy af.

It's been pretty cold and it's been getting dark around 5pm. Sucks because I like the sun and warmth that it brings.

Rewatching the German TV film World on a Wire. It's been long enough (almost ten years) that I've forgotten almost the whole plot. It's this seventies science fiction about reality or simulated reality. I love the look of it. I love the director Fassbinder.

Before that, I watched The X-Files episode 2 on Blu-ray and, earlier, The Wire on BD, the last episode with Omar, having seen the DVD versions of both previously. Was pleasantly surprised when I opened the X-Files boxset yesterday and found that the event series is included. The Amazon page only said seasons 1 to 9, as did the blu-ray.com page. They added it since this set was released four years ago. I've never seen the event series.

I also went grocery shopping and got this broken bicycle light replaced.

It's actually pretty funny how the discounts sometimes work at Udemy. They may vary depending on whether you browse logged in or having cleared your browser data or via incognito mode.

Picking a highly rated and popular course for these prices is definitely worth. Heck I've spent money on games I barely played in the end, so I may as well invest on properly acquiring some new skills.
