Joan Rivers. She had a gift that no other comedian has come close to. In controversial times, she always had a politically incorrect joke that just made you howl with laughter. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills was just looted in the riots - I can only imagine what she’d say about that.

Joan Rivers is really good, only close female comic Ill compare her to is Mom's Mabley. Mabley sold out shows during segregation which was really impressive! I miss Greg Giraldo so much, he is one of my all time favorite comedians, not only his roasting ability but his ability to talk about any topic!

Antoine Lavoisier (Chemist).

The world lost a brilliant mind that day, all over what was essentially mob rule.

To be honest, I don't care for celebrities on a personal level so don't feel that affected by their loss, except one -

Anthony Burdaine. The guy inspired me to travel the world, which I do now - last year I visited 7 countries across 5 continents. I never understood how someone who was a millionaire and constantly traveling the world would take his own life. Oddly enough, I always thought he looked sad watching his show, but I assumed it was his personality - nope he was actually sad.

To be honest, at the time, I don't think I've ever been sad over a celebrities death. Sure, there's been some horrible ones through the years...most recently Kobe Bryant & his daughter. But, I think I've been more shocked than anything. Especially, when it came to Michael Jackson's death. I was around 12 at the time.

When I think about it now...I feel quite saddened over George Michael's death. He seemed like a wonderful person. I only started getting into his music after he passed and while I like Wham! I think that his solo stuff was far better. I have a lot of respect for him and his music. Quite possibly one of my favourite artists of all time.

Robin Williams was rough, especially given the manner of it and the revelation of his condition leading him to make that decision.

Probably not going to be a popular choice, but Michael Jackson is the only celebrity I’ve ever cried for upon hearing about his passing. Regardless of what the truth is behind the allegations, I am a kid of the eighties and grew up with him when he seemed almost superhuman in his talent and influence. It was impossible for me not to mourn him from that part deep inside from long ago that defined my childhood.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Steve Irwin. That guy was one-of-a-kind. I was also impacted by David Bowie, Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain and Stan Lee.

I am quite shocked nobody mentioned Carlin or Patrice. Patrice was so ahead of his time, released one of the best comedy specials ever. His death came so unexpected.

Robin Williams and Dolores O'Riordan. I read that Williams had Parkinson's or some shit. I'm totally fine with people deciding to end their lives if they have a disease that will only get worse and eventually kill them, but he'd lost his sanity and that really is sad. As for Dolores I'm more angry than sad. Like, you're a fucking adult, and Irish no less, you should know how to fucking drink without drowning in a bathtub. Sorry for all the curse words.

There is no excuse for suicide unless you know you are going to die and want to take the easy way out. Just my perspective.

@PfizersaurusRex: Robin Williams had a very rare brain disorder that was mistaken for Parkinson's, but it was altering his brain chemistry (or something like that) as it was deteriorating his brain and he was becoming a completely different human being for long spells. After being told there wasn't anything anybody could do, he decided to opt out.

^^I'm definitely misquoting that a bit; I don't have it completely memorized, but it was something along those lines. Truly sad.
