Royal Wedding!

I'm assuming none of you have heard, hasn't really been publicised, quite a low key event I believe - just a few friends, but there is a Royal Wedding on Friday (Prince William & Kate Middleton) in London.

Who's excited? According to the BBC, 2 BILLION people will watch the live stream of it at some point. 1/3 of the world will be watching the British Royal Wedding. I think it's great!

Fortunatley, I live in Bristol, England, so about 3 hour drive from London. So i'm going up and staying there with my bro to watch it in person! Really looking forward to it, though i hope a) the weather is nice and b) there aren't any 'incidents' (terrorists and all that!)

I couldn't care less about the royal family

I couldn't give two s$%* about the royal wedding. I mean I pay taxes therfore im paying for the wedding and im not invited WTF. Anyway I hope nothing stupid happens on the day (terrorists) and everything goes smoothly. Only good think about the royal wedding is that we get a bank holiday which equals no school. :D

I'm watching! I'm a sucker for stuff like this. But it airs at 4 a.m. here and that's going to be hard.

I am just annoyed with how much publicity it has gotten on every channel....but no i won't watch

How much coverage has it had in the US and generally outside the UK? UK TV is obviously very centered about this, but I'm interested to know how much it is shown/talked about outside the UK...GenTom

The US networks were hyping it up but then they realized that people in the US really don't give a **** for the most part so they're starting to cancel some of the TV programs they had planned.

(Which is a good thing, I have no idea why anyone in the US should care about this)
