I've been playing a lot of Splatoon 2 lately. Has anyone else around here been playing that?
Nope, I haven't. Finally began Gears of War 4. Since Batman Arkham Asylum has performance issues. Mostly because the GPU won't run at full speed, hovering at 925MHz or lower mostly.

@mitu123: Not at all. I just like to take games slowly. But that leads to a lot of unfinished games... like Breath of the wild. =P
TEW was quite scary. I always thought RE was going to go in that direction. Oh, and that Resident Evil nod in the beginning was pretty cool. =D
I see what you mean though. I can be like that, or get them done fast. I do sometimes 100% games as well.
Yeah, Resident Evil probably should had gone in that direction for the better.

Also I finally got a chance to watch Thor: Ragnarok trailer #2. Holy fucking hell! I love seeing Thor crackling with lightning even without Mjolnir, Thor's power always come from within, not his Hammer. Loving Valkyrie's costume, Cate Blanchett as Hela AKA the Goddess of Death was the best part, she's got a creepy but awesome sexual energy thing going on. I think she could be the best superhero movie villain of the year!
Sorry DC but I'm way more hype for Thor Ragnarok then Justice League way more so.
Thor looks awesome and I loved that trailer, also I read it's the shortest MCU movie at being and hour and 40 some minutes. I still hope Justice League does well though.
@mitu123: I think I've been away from here even longer than this time in recent years. Also, back in the day, I believe there's been times where I've been gone from here longer. So, how are you lately?
I actually forgot about Division, I would've gotten that game if it wasn't for all of that random loot crap I been hearing about but since it's been a year later release, I guess I could give it a hot now that I think about it, not sure what version to get it of course. What consoles do you have? I own PC/PS4/Nintendo Switch as of right now.

I finally hit 1k subs on my youtube account after using it for 3 years with 400 vids...I never expected that to happen to be honest. And this is before I planned to upload vids more often that's happening this fall, that's just crazy!

Mostly, yes, though at times I would talk about movies and tv shows(which is being planned). For games it's playthroughs or doing various game modes, sometimes game modes against other people.

It turns out if you want to run this game at 4k and 60fps you will need a beefy rig as even a GTX 1080 Ti can't do it...that's just crazy!
That sounds like the work of a horrible port.
To be fair, 4k max settings at 60fps is demanding for many games today, not even a 1070 or 1080 can do it, a 1080 Ti can come close but fall a bit short with certain games. Plus the PC version is getting enhanced graphical features as well so that makes the game a bit more demanding.
Not to mention, unless you SLI 1070s, 1080s and 1080 Tis, you will have a difficult time to get 4k max settings at 60fps for various games of today. It's going to take some time before 4k and 60fps is easily doable on a single gpu, and that single gpu has to be more powerful than a 1080 Ti as well.
Honestly, I always felt those 1080Ti are good for 1440p/144Hz monitors and not for 4K alone.
1440P at 144Hz require more than 4K 60Hz. Both GPU and CPU actually. And well RAM too of course.

They never did, only for 3 and 4 ways SLI, 2 way SLI on 1070s, 1080s and 1080 Tis are still supported, in fact it's the main way to get 4k+60fps on a lot of games.

Ours are quite similar. Except I got GTX980Ti, but how powerful they are, quite the same.

Yeah, but you can turn down a few settings, hey maybe even one is enough, and you get a fairly stable 60fps.
