It was working fine, then the left button suddenly died for no reason. I'm using a small cheap mouse atm, and it's a nightmare to play anything with. :/

I still think it would make for a neat customization option, especially since the removal of colored usernames.

I think it would be nice except the stripes and the width of the border is really big. I want bigger avatars. D: They can do that. Since our sig size is small anyways.

All I can find in the stores here is the first Spotlight Collection (which is basically discs 1 and 3 from the first Golden Collection) and a couple of the character-specific DVDs, which I ended up buying. From now on, ordering these DVDs online will have to do. Maybe I'll end up getting a Golden Collection or two, but not all of them.

You're best bet is Amazon. Earlier this year they had a massive discount on this set (vols 1-6 in a 24 disc collection.) for $50 as a one-day-only sale; I missed out on it. Still, even $100 is not bad for all six sets. Another option is the Platinum Collection, which has some of the cartoons from the Golden Collection, as well as some that's new to home video. If you go that route, make sure you get the Blu-Ray editions, they're the ones that have extra cartoons as well as bonus features, the standard DVD Platinum Collection doesn't have them.

The reason they're not in many stores anymore is because Warner Bros. stopped production on the Golden Collection sets is to focus on the Blu-Ray market, hence the Platinum Collection. However, they're still available to purchase almost anywhere online, including Warner Bros. online store.

Yeah, I've already checked Amazon. I'll consider a couple Golden Collections, like I've mentioned, and/or one of the Platinum Collections. I don't see myself getting all of them for $100 though.

That's cool. A good chunk of what's on the Golden Collection you can get from the Platinum Collections anyway. My old golden collections are damaged, so I'll wind up getting the Platinum ones until I get them replaced. Wish they would put them out more frequently than once a year, though.

Do you know when it's supposed to arrive? I also plan to get the Platinum Collection 3 on Blu-Ray, which also happens to come out on my Birthday (August 12). But I may also get a Golden Collection before then, since I want some more Looney Tunes on DVD as well.

According to Blu-ray.com, Amazon and a few other sites, it looks like the official street date will be August 12. If you plan on getting any of the Golden Collection volumes before then, do yourself a favor and take a look at the list of cartoons for the upcoming Volume 3 Platinum Collection. Although there are some that are brand new to home video (marked with an asterisk), a majority of these are available in the previous Golden Collection sets:

It's been over a year and a half since I last did a proper DVD review, but I'll more than likely do a new one once its released. I did a review on vol. 2 of the Platinum Collection, if you're curious on what to expect with the new one.

Yeah they make both pre-recorded and live shows. Go to the Videos menu at the top, and the check the Shows and Live categories.

I bought a bunch of games on the summer sale, but the only one I actually started is Deponia. I'm mostly playing DayZ these days.

it's too late to stop her though, isn't it..

@harry_james_pot: I enjoyed the first two Deponia games, and I will pick up Goodbye Deponia at some point to find out how it ends.

I'm half-way through the game and really loving it so far. Feels a lot like Monkey Island.
