Sad day :(
He will be missed.
This wasn't the kind of news I wasn't even expecting to hear! Man’s a legend. Rest In Peace and also, this Marvel fanboy of me shall never forget Stan Lee!
Damn. Oh well it wasn't so unexpected. Still sad though. :(
I think we all knew this day was coming, (but I wasn't expecting this year at least) and probably sooner than later. He had a full life, a longer one than most get, and he helped change the face of a medium.
But it still a shitty surprise hearing this! Goodbye Stan Lee. But at the same time, at least he's reunited with his Wife.
Nuff Said.
Big loss for me, been a Marvel fan since my first comics in early 1974, Amazing Spiderman 132 and Marvel Team-up 18.
I used to read Stan's Soapbox every month back in the day. He was especially fond of Spider-Man and the Silver Surfer, the latter was a Jack Kirby creation that Stan ran with and turned him into a tragic figure. I will miss him in the movies.
Excelsior!
Damn. Oh well it wasn't so unexpected. Still sad though. :(
We all knew it was coming... I was just hoping he could have made it to 100... I will miss his cameos... E for Excelsior... :(
@JustPlainLucas: Stan Lee did mentioned he was dealing with pneumonia. I knew he didn't have much longer to live as that condition is hell for someone in their 20's to fight, practically a death sentence for someone in their 90's. I too was hoping he'll make it to 100 years old myself.
Rest in peace Mr.Lee. Especially hard for the family around this time of year, he was one of a kind and gave so much to so many people. I never followed comics or anything related to it, but I know how much he meant to everyone around him and his followers. Condolences to the family.

Didn't his wife die earlier this year?
He lived long enough to see his visions become a major part of mainstream culture. The man accomplished much more than most. Farewell, Captain Cameo!
/S
RIP Stan Lee. You did some shady shit early on, but I think in the end you balanced out positive. Definitely the right kind of progressive, world needs more like him.
Going to miss seeing him as a cameo in any new Marvel movie. Hope they CGI him in, that'd be great.
Even though he's lived a very full life, he was always someone you'd thought would just live forever, you know?
He will most definitely be missed.
