10/10.
Well?
Agree with 10/10. Loved fish & chips since my days living in England. Not even those blimmin' Aussies hassling me about my pronunciation (I picked up a bit of the local accent during my time in New Zealand) could make me stop loving that stuff.
Sprinkle a bit of salt and add a little barbeque sauce. Yummy.
1) Depends where you buy it, there are some shit fish and chips out there.
2) Beer battered fish is amazing, quality fish and chips in Cornwall/UK.
@Random_Matt: Agreed. It depends on where you buy it.A lot of fish&chip places are the pits. But if I was to get it at a good location,It's definitely a 10/10.Great supper.mmmm
10/10 one of my favourite meals, bit of salt with curry or gravy. Also as some mentioned it depends on where you go. Luckily I've got a good one close by. Only thing that may beat it is a full english breakfast.
6/10. I don't really like the taste of most fish. Swordfish and trout are good though.
I'd rather have a steak and fries.
a ****ing 10, mate!
one of those rare dishes that is so simple, it can not be improved upon. And yet, in its simplicity, it highlights the excellence of the cook preparing it; a great fish and chips experience can be one of the better experiences of a lifetime! But even an average fish and chips experience can be satisfying, a true testament to the dish's quality.
In England, I heard they serve it with "mushy peas" or something like that? Is it good that way? I have not tried those before.
But I love it wherever, with a few splashes of malt vinegar.
Is it worth obesity?
you don't get fat from eating fish and chips.
you get fat from eating fish and chips every day.

Now please rate your Homebrew Beer + Fish n Chips :P
They'd get a high rating for taste. For health - a very different score!
If it's borderline edible, it's getting deep fried.
@indzman thanks! i never come here, but for some reason i clicked on it today and saw your thread and thought i'd chime in.
You are welcome and you should drop by on OT more on your convinience. This place certainly could need some cool users like you :)
never ate that, I'm from belgium and french fries is a national dish (yes it should be called belgian fries). You don't eat fries with fish(sticks), you eat it with steak, corndog, chicken nuggets, frikandel, viandel, burgers, chicken.
But not with fish, allthough I would eat it, I haven't seen anyone eating that here. at mcdonald they serve it with a fish burger though.
I eat fish with mashed potatoes.
This is a lot of stuff we eat with fries around here
