So I saw No Way Home last night and it was excellent! With that said, here are my favorites:

  • Spiderman (2002)
  • Spiderman 2 (2004)
  • Spiderman: No Way Home
  • Spiderman: Far From Home
  • Spiderman 3 (2007)
  • Spiderman: Homecoming
  • The Amazing Spiderman
  • The Amazing Spiderman 2

I did Live Action. If I were to include animated movies, Into the Spiderverse would be either number 3 or 4 for me.

How about you, OT? How would you rank the Spider-Man movies?

  1. Spiderman 2
  2. Spiderman 1
  3. Spiderman 3
  4. Spiderman: No Way Home
  5. The Amazing Spiderman
  6. The Amazing Spiderman 2
  7. Spiderman: Homecoming
  8. Spiderman: Far From Home

Don't know if it's just me getting old but I feel that each new iteration of Spiderman loses a bit of soul and heart. Which is why the Raimi trilogy is in the top of my list whereas Tom Holland's movies are at the bottom (besides NWH which attempted to pull off the spiderverse in a very nostalgic way).

@SolidGame_basic:

I don't think it's fair to put No Way Home in a list of best of all time since it piggybacks on the success of all the previous Spiderman movies. It feels undeserved. That's the biggest drawback to the Tom Holland universe. It leeches off the fact that it's in the Avengers universe and relies a lot on it to keep your interest.

Hmm.. you raise a good point! I agree about Avengers having a big role in those movies. I think that's why I appreciated No Way Home. It seems like they are trying to do their own thing now or at least go in that direction.

The Tobey Maguire trilogy is where it's at for me. Especially 2. It's just a good movie in general and so was the video game from memory at the time. The films came at a time when I was really into superheroes. When I think back it's a mixture of them being a part of my childhood and nostalgia.

To put it simply, I'm not a fan of the MCU Tom Holland films. (Haven't seen No Way Home as of yet. Did away with the MCU films after EndGame, though this'll be an exception.) The Andrew Garfield movies were okay, I didn't really care for him as Peter Parker.
