second this. Would rather carry my kid than put him in a makeshift leesh. Of course, I can't blame busy parents that has little time to take care of their children -_-Don't do that to kids. It will make them mental. And it is not really funny at all.

What's sad is I saw a lady at a mall with a kid on a leash and she was carrying her dog >.>xobballoxIt's all part of the equal rights for animals movement. My 70 year old neighbour actually has a seatbelt for his dog.

Ive seen that before too. I thought it was pretty ridiculous if you have to keep your kid on a leash. What would happen if they weren't on one? They'd run away? I'd understand a dog just up and leaving...but a child.KikoukenCould easily get abducted. You only have to turn your back on a child for a second these days and it will go missing.

meh.. when the kid is 14 months old and walking all over the place and doesn't really understand verbal communication or a smack on the bottom yet it can be effective.

That's because you have to carry any pets with you when walking through shopping centres......except if it's a really big dog of course......that would be somewhat.........awkward :P
I used to have one of those on when I was a kid. It didn't go all the way round me, just on my wrist. But its a useful way of making sure your child doesn't run off.Bourbons3
:o I remember I used to have one of those as well when I was little. I think mine was yellow, and my sister had a pink one :P

I made it more complete
My mother used to dress me a my 2 brother in the same bright colored striped shirts if we went somewhere. This would be in the 1980's. I don't how I'd feel if I was on a leash. When I was old enough to realize I was leashed like a dog, I'd be quite mad at my mother!
I actaully tell every parent I see that does this that they are awefull to treat their kid like a dog....Omni-Slash:| How are they treating the child like a dog? If anything they are looking for their safety.

Different from my experience. Around airports and other extremely busy areas with a lot of strangers it's not too much to use one of these "leashes" just for safety. Of course you should still give them proper attention, I never put that on the line. But having them "hard-wired" to you gives you a guarantee that just holding hands does not.[QUOTE="Neon-Tiger"][QUOTE="Omni-Slash"]I actaully tell every parent I see that does this that they are awefull to treat their kid like a dog....Omni-Slash
