Preview out for Adele's 'Skyfall' theme

Exclusive:I think I can confirm for you what I said some months agoAdele is performing the theme song for Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond movie. As far as I know the song is called Skyfall. I think if anyone else had sung the theme song this year it wouldnt have made sense. Adeles sound is the quintessential James Bond sound. She joins Shirley Bassey, Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Rita Coolidge, John Barry, Duran Duran and others on the long list of pop stars whove immortalized James Bond in song.

Skyfall will be Adeles first new single since her album 21 sold 7 billion copies in 13 different galaxies. The movie opens in London the last week of October, right when Adele will give birth to a baby, as well. The good news is, this should be an actual song with a melody and a hook, unlike recent tortures. More to come on this breaking news

to be fair i dont care anymore, not because they started making the bond theme tunes poptastic but because they stopped using the theme song as part of the main soundtrack

IMO the magic of a bond theme tune was that it was integrated into the film, take the strings from you only live twice or IMO the best example the bridge to thunderball and the way they work it into the film, thats what it special, not the 3 minutes with the silhouettes

I completey agree, the old bonds were very silly, who were borderline reliant on magic to get them out of tight jams.

Plus I am an Adele fan, I know a great singer who is recognised for her talent as opposed being part model
