Is this worth $5? Looks good but I dont eat there much so I dont know if its a good deal. Anyone know the usual prices at Popeyes?

I wish popeyes will stop raising their prices. My favorite meal, a Chicken strip combo meal, is at $7.00 after it was once at $5.00 not so long ago. It's not like I go to them often since popeyes aren't very close to where I live at now. But I miss actually getting filled up for the price the strips once were when I was staying in Chicago. It seems like they charge more now, but give out less fries and smaller strips...

I'd rather they raise the prices than shrink the meals... Arby's around here used to be great... $3.00 got you a massive Arby's melt with like 10 slices of roast beef and melted cheddar... Now, that same $3.00 Arby's melt comes on a small like picnic sized bun with 2 slices of roast beef and barely any cheese.

Looks good. But I say, go eat it yourself and decide ;)

The only and accurate way to know if the food's worth it.

It's times like these I wish I liked seafood. And knew what the hell a Popey's actually is.

Popeyes has the best fried chicken and I am not just saying that since it originated from my State.

Sadly, popeyes seem stingy with their meals now. I don't get as much fries while the strips seem to have shrunk a bit from their normal size. The meal itself don't seem like its worth $7.00. I mean, 3 strips, small order of fries, and medium drink? $5.00 was perfect. Especially when it don't even come close to filling me up.....

Yes, it is worth it. :) I find it hard to go back to KFC now and only do so if there isn't a Popeye's in sight. It just tastes better.

What do you mean? It's just $5. Buy it and find out. If you don't like it, then you barely wasted anything...

That's a pretty good deal considering the price of their other stuff. It costs 8-10 bucks for 3 chicken tenders, a side and a drink. I went there with my girlfriend after a movie and I had 15 bucks on me, but everything cost at LEAST 7 or 8 bucks. I mean, there was something weird going on because usually there's some stuff for 3 or 4 bucks on there. But when I asked about it they said those are the prices... So I ended up buying some chicken tenders for my gf and not eating anything... Probably would've been better to hit up a McDonalds, but I didn't want to drive anywhere except home.

It sounds awesome, but it also look like it's filled with grease and fat. Not a healthy option :P.

Yeah ever since Popeyes came to Canada nothing can beat that hot spicy chicken, plus biscuits are awesome.. But crawfish? No thanks.
