In the latest attempt at bashing Trump and his supporters, MSN/Bloomberg has published a story stating that Trump is leading among White voters who have at most a high school education, but lagging among voters who have a college education.

Donald Trump is decisively winning white voters who don’t have more than a high-school education, but his stubborn unpopularity with minorities has given Hillary Clinton a narrow overall lead with America’s least-educated voters.

.

One of the major problems confronting Trump is that he’s running so poorly among college-educated voters whom he needs to win — much worse than Romney finished in 2012.

This only confirms what I have long suspected: The brainwashing at US tertiary education institutions diminishes the IQs of their students! :-)

Half of the storyline of this election cycle has been about the predicament of the blue collar white workers that have led to the rise of Trump.

I think the more people/media/celebrities shit on Trump and his supporters, the more support he gets (whether people openly admit to supporting him or not.) Saw the same thing happen with Bush in 04'. Still boggles my mind that he got re-elected.

A quick look at brietbart and fox comment section shows this is true.

Same goes for Trump supporters at this very forum, their posts are so unintelligible, angry, and almost religious. It's just "Cuck" this and "Cuck" that.

The less-educated favor Trump because they know that, if Hillary were to be elected, they would be the first to be drafted as cannon fodder for Hillary's planned wars against Assad, Russia, China and Iran.

It shouldn't boggle your mind, Kerry is a wingnut. I mean hell he has done really nothing on the foreign affairs front, however Obamas administration with foreign affairs have been subpar at best, so can't totally throw it all on him, but it hasn't gotten better either.

Its not exactly a mystery. We are talking about a demographic of people who are nationalist but wave a flag of sedition and slavery around as their heritage.

Of course they want to be victims of the system and of course they will fall on bended knee to the big bad "alpha" male that completes them. That is what uneducated cowards do. Our history is littered with people who worship tinpot dictators.

@R3FURBISHED: I think that God has a sick sense of humor and since people have already given machine guns to chimpanzees, He has moved on to seeing who will vote Trump for the position of highest executive office in the most powerful country in the world.

The guns get bigger, but the chimps remain the same.

Sounds like MSN thinks Trump is going to win and are already unrolling the damage control.

Meanwhile, a polling of physicians conducted by the AAPS shows 71% think Hillary's sickness is "serious—could be disqualifying for the position of President of the U.S.,"

This election feels like we're all trapped in one of those sick sociological experiments from the 60s. Some weird ass experiment trying to determine how far we'll go before we start to eat each other. Picking between either is like asking someone which leg you'd rather cut off but one will give you a ride to the hospital and the other will tell you to walk.

So, are you surprised dumb people are voting for Trump? In my mind that makes perfect sense. Of course stupid, uneducated people are voting for Trump- because voting for Trump is a really stupid, uneducated thing to do.

Do I get my emmy now?

Only 40% of America has a degree, and that is counting the useless ones. If one political party is in love with looking down upon 60% of the population and mocking them, it shouldn't be shocking that they want to go with the other. This isn't something to be celebrated. Alienating the average person is how we got Bush, and the only way we will get Trump. Considering he is only down four points, when it should be more like forty, maybe rethink the smug condescension?

The freaking republicans should never have been able to claim the working poor.

Higly educated is less likely to experince things that the poorly educated experinces in their daily lives and vice versa. Pretty logical that they are less likely to vote for the same people.

Welcome to politicians in general. You don't need a degree or a diploma to figure out we have two rich people who are taking lots of money from very rich people in exchange for promises to take care of the very rich. Fun fact: For both parties politics is the path for even greater wealth. Likely has something to do with making friends with the very rich.

I would say it is hilarious that people pretend otherwise in order to stereotype and belittle strangers over a lack of political savviness, but it is really only sad in an ironic sort of way.

@kittennose: I totally agree that both politicians running at the moment have no real plans to help the poor. It is unbelievable how easy it is to pander to people. Now on the other hand I believe Bernie was in fact concerned with the poor and middle class and did intend to help them. He has spent his entire political career championing these beliefs. How did Bernie support rank in the poor, white south?

Well gosh, wonder why. Perhaps it's because he's been talking about changing trade agreements like NAFTA which drive down wages for American workers. Those agreements are not hurting those that push paper/code for a living, or in other words; the "educated". They are instead depressing the wages of those that do physical labor, or in other words; the most important jobs in the country because if nobody was building the offices you need to park your fat, "educated" ass in you wouldn't have a job to go to.

And/or perhaps it's because he doesn't celebrate the flooding of the country with more immigrants, both legal and illegal, from the 3rd world. That also drives down the wages of American workers. Oh, I know; that's racist! No, it isn't. The problem is you're brainwashed. Brainwashed into believing that for the elites of the country, the ones calling the shots, it's somehow about the glory of the rainbow and not what it really is: DRIVING DOWN WAGES. The wealthy in this and other western countries ... the politicians, the mainstream media, the businessmen (Who own the media and the politicians), all those rich assholes lecturing you about race and the magnificence of immigration on TV every day ... don't give a squat about people in 3rd world countries. But they love that those people will work for nothing and want them competing with you here and abroad so that eventually you will also be working for nothing. When you complain they yell racist at you, works like a charm. The younger you are the better it works. And ironically, the more "educated" you are the better it works.

And what do you get when you combine "educated" and youth? The college student, lol ... the most naive, full of it demographic of people in the country. Probably nobody is against Trump more than those safe spaced, trigger warning loving, hopelessly indoctrinated social justice warriors so he must be doing something right.

funny point about college degrees there. Actually, chicanery and an antiquated election system is how we got Bush the second time.

Other than that I agree vociferously with your post. Class mocking is not the way to progress. That just pushes the average person to Trump, whether he deserves them or not.
