PLease help need some very serious advice im really scared.

My dad is pis$ drunk and i have tried to console him and to stop him from acting out. He just got into a fight with my mom and it was extremely close to becoming physical. He's normally not like this but being new years (yes its new years day now being 1 am on Ist of Jan 2010) he has had way too much to drink.

At the moment he is passed out on the couch in the living room and i am really scared that he may wake up and start fighting again. I'm really scared, should i go to sleep? or should i stay up and make sure nothing happens?

Please help me im 15 and i havnt faced these sort of situations.

PS. I'm being serious so keep the jokes to a minimum

If he's passed out then he'll sleep like a baby.

Let him sleep it out. Dont make any noise.

If he wakes up momentarily, and hears nothing, he´s inclined to resume sleeping, since nothing of apparent interest is happening around him i.e cannot interact with anyone.

He probably wont wake drunk, you'll be fine.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I would say to just stay out of his way until he sobers up.

Just leave him he will probably not wake up until the morning.

Just make him some pan cakes... But put ipecac syrup into the batter. When he wakes up, be like Dad, I made you breakfast. It wont hurt him, it just makes you vommit.

From the way hes sleeping i'm guessing he is gunna wake up, his legs are sorta hanging off the sofa while his body is on.

Don't worry. He won't wake up for a good while.

just let him sleep and he will wake up fine with a headache...

If he is incredibly drunk then he should be out until around noon. I'm sure he will feel terrible for what happened and would be more hurt from a hangover to get physical.

If he hasn't gotten physical, they're not going to charge him with anything. They'll take him to the lock-up and let him sleep it off there. They won't even say it was you who called them.

So, please, don't hesitate. Call 911 if you have to.

THis is a good suggestion. Just let him sleep it off, Like most of the posters on here stated. :)
