Religious tolerance=Accepting intolerance.

Same message regarding religion which I already know: All religions are stupid, Islamic countries are still in the stone age, Europe has a severe immigration problem (which is actually legitimate), I already know this.
Still, I like to listen to his rants. I find it amusing.
Christian PEOPLE are just as intolerant. Also, only the Muslim extremists are the ones carrying out these violent acts...not your everyday Muslim on the street.Christianity is just as intolerant as Islam. Pot, kettle, and so on...

I forgot 50% of all terrorist attacks are committed by Christians. Thats a fact ya know.

Correction: Homosexuality is the result of man falling from grace, not the devil, per se.

Right, homosexuality is the devil whatever.
Not exactly a nice way to look at people.
Then why is the OT even in the Bible? foxhound_fox
Because it tells us of how God has operated in history with the jewish people eventually fulfilling everything in it with the person of Jesus of Nazereth.
Right, homosexuality is the devil whatever.

THE_DRUGGIE
Lust is of the devil as well and pretty much every human being falls to that sin. Christianity doesn't specifically pick on gays you know. We pick on everyone, including each other.

While I'm at it, I haed that evangelism station on again while I was driving and an old lady was praying for blood over every state individually.
Creepy.

Christians are more intolerant than I thought, geez.THE_DRUGGIE
Well we should be intolerant of sin, sure. Evil is not something to be celebrated.

Dude, why you gotta hate on homosexuals so much?
Seriously.
My mother used to drive around my school and pray a "blood line" (the blood of Christ, keeps the demons out or something.)While I'm at it, I haed that evangelism station on again while I was driving and an old lady was praying for blood over every state individually.

I'm unsure what that is. Some sort of work outside of biblical canons recognised by Christians? We have a canon of scripture that the church has decided upon over a long period, we don't put just any old book in there.

Christians are not...or should not be intolerant towards homosexuals. We are taught to love everyone equally, even those who we think are sinning.I don't agree with the homosexual life**** but I don't hate them.

Who hates Homosexuals? (besides the WBC whom I would not consider Christian because of their actions). Do I hate them because I hate sin? Then am I to hate the whole of humanity? Should I hate my priest? Should I hate Moses?
I think ya gotta look past a fundamentalist view point of Christianity.

Well I accept homosexuality as a valid form of attraction, as well as a lifestyIe.
Why is there any reason to hate? I don't see any rational reason.

It's just the way they love.

Speaking under naturalism I fail to see how anything is a sin. God has defined as a sin and this is an eternal opinion for the Christian thus they likewise accept what God says is a sin.

 Old Testament, nice try. Christians follow the New Testament. Love thy neighbor and all that...yeah, real intolerant. The Bible isn't suppose to be taken literally. There are phrases and words that had different meaning in the past. In fact, when the Great Schism happened, it wasn't because of who was destined to rule a kingdom like Islam when it had their split but rather a difference in practices and worship between the Orthodox and the Catholics. In fact, in this century there are female priests and even a gay priest.

I don't worry myself over heterosexuality more or less than homosexuality.

10:34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.10:35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.10:36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.10:37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Yup, peace, love and all that.

Because I consider it a sin. But I'm not going to go into a homosexual's face and randomly put him/her down for it. It's not something I sit and think about all day or anything. If someone asks me my opinion, I give it to them and leave it at that.[QUOTE="THE_DRUGGIE"]Why is there any reason to hate? But they can be, like, your wingman. They attract the chicks with their appletinis and talk about The View and you go in to seal the deal.

Don't tell me "because the book told me so." Use your own life experiences.
