Didn't realize this guy was still alive. Doesn't he have better things to do than religious rants on youtube?

Same message regarding religion which I already know: All religions are stupid, Islamic countries are still in the stone age, Europe has a severe immigration problem (which is actually legitimate), I already know this.

Still, I like to listen to his rants. I find it amusing.

He has some fair points and he seems quite intelligent and articulate but his view of Islam and the Middle East is very monolithic. There's just a lot more depth to the issues he's bringing. He also seems to have a very Western-centric perspective.

I'm unsure what that is. Some sort of work outside of biblical canons recognised by Christians? We have a canon of scripture that the church has decided upon over a long period, we don't put just any old book in there.

Who hates Homosexuals? (besides the WBC whom I would not consider Christian because of their actions). Do I hate them because I hate sin? Then am I to hate the whole of humanity? Should I hate my priest? Should I hate Moses?

I think ya gotta look past a fundamentalist view point of Christianity.

Speaking under naturalism I fail to see how anything is a sin. God has defined as a sin and this is an eternal opinion for the Christian thus they likewise accept what God says is a sin.

The Bible isn't suppose to be taken literally. There are phrases and words that had different meaning in the past. In fact, when the Great Schism happened, it wasn't because of who was destined to rule a kingdom like Islam when it had their split but rather a difference in practices and worship between the Orthodox and the Catholics. In fact, in this century there are female priests and even a gay priest.

Matthew:

10:34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.10:35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.10:36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

10:37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Yup, peace, love and all that.

Why? To attain eternal pleasure and stay away from the big, scary fire, right? What an egoistic aim. I'd rather adhere to altruistic morality.

Because I consider it a sin. But I'm not going to go into a homosexual's face and randomly put him/her down for it. It's not something I sit and think about all day or anything. If someone asks me my opinion, I give it to them and leave it at that.

Because those are poser bigots. I've found that the teachings of Jesus and humanism go hand-in-hand. We're supposed to be the "light unto the world" and try to make this world a better place...not cherry picking someone's "faults." It also annoys me that so many Christians act like they're so ****ing perfect, when the Bible says we all are sinners, and "whoever is without sin, cast the first stone." I sin all the time...I masturbate like a hog, I use rampant profanity, I don't honor my father and mother, I lie, I cheat, ect. ect. No one is perfect, not even close, so for these "Christians" to go around judging people is just barbaric.

My question is why should you even care?

I don't worry myself over heterosexuality more or less than homosexuality.

Because I consider it a sin. But I'm not going to go into a homosexual's face and randomly put him/her down for it. It's not something I sit and think about all day or anything. If someone asks me my opinion, I give it to them and leave it at that.

Well why consider it a sin in the first place? Why's homosexuality so bad?

Don't tell me "because the book told me so." Use your own life experiences.
