Pakistan monitoring Google and six other websites for blasphemy

An official says Pakistan will start monitoring seven major websites, including Google, for anti-Islamic content. It also is blocking at least 17 other, lesser-known sites it deems offensive to Muslims.

The sites to be monitored include Yahoo, Google, MSN, Hotmail, YouTube, Amazon and Bing.

I highly doubt that's the real reason they are blocking those sites, if -they- are actually blocking those sites. People at the top are not stupid like people way at the bottom.

Well I'm from Pakistan, and for one think its completely bonkers. Blocking FB was stupid enough, this is two steps ahead. It just gives the govt a fake sense of accomplishment where as they've accomplished nothing.TheDarthvader
