I've been thinking about getting a tri-force tattoo on my arm for about two-three years now but I'm still debating. I know they're a permanent decision and all.

I would just like to know what other people would think

I think they're silly but something like a Triforce isn't too over-the-top. I wouldn't go for something that's obviously video game related to the un-initiated but a symbol from a game.

If you don't think you'll regret it in the future and if it doesn't hinder you in any way then go for it.

From what I gather, lots of people's first tattoos take a lot of time to decide to get.

Then, after the first, it becomes an addiction and you can't stop getting them, and they stop having meaning and they just "look cool".

Personally, I'm going to be getting a tattoo in the near future (next couple years) but am not sure what I want to get yet.

Depending on how much it truly means to you, i think it's a fine idea! Tattoos can be a lot of fun as long as you're 100% sure you feel that you're making a wise decision. it's not in any way bad to get a tattoo whatsoever. i have several, and when you think you really want it, it'll come to you. you'll just feel it, and then you'll see it's a good choice. you'll know what i mean on your first tattoo. get inspired!

Nothing screams low class like a video game tatoo.

Yeah, I decided to class it up and get some Beethoven and Shakespeare tattoos.

I think it's funny. I've met like...five different people with Triforce tattoos. None of them even like Zelda that much. People seem to be really desperate to throw ink on themselves for social acceptance. It's like literally wearing your insecurities on your sleeve. People with the most tattoos seem to be the biggest snowflakes.

But hey, some people might get a good laugh from it. I know a few people's awful tattoos brightened up my day.

Video game symbols and logo's are usually designed by talented graphic designers, so it certainly beats most tattoos I've seen. Which to be honest isn't saying much.

I think that they are fine myself and like most any other types of tattoos there are good ones and bad ones.
