But if you did, tell us how you feel about it, plz.
Bond has always bored me to tears. No idea how other people stand it.
Now i heard they are trying to make bond go woke, but what's the point? Those movies have always been shitty.
Does having a shitty movie franchise like james bond or Ghostbusters go woke really changes society? I personally preferred it when the only woke movies were artistic indie films. At least they had some meaning.
I'd like to see it. I think Craig has done a good job, and he hasn't starred in any bad Bond movies, just one or two that weren't as good as the others.
I enjoyed Casino Royale, for example, but a lot of it dragged on for a while. It was the first Craig movie though iirc and it sort of sets him down this path, so I suppose it can be forgiven for sort of taking a bit long to set things up.
It was alright. The weakest part is the movie's villain without it being Rami Malek's fault. The script didn't really allow him to shine. All in all a decent (and emotional) conclusion to the overarching narrative of the Daniel Craig movies.
Always been a fan of the Craig movies, he is a good actor and brings a blend of serious drama, good action, and a tiny bit of camp that previous Bond movies have sometimes taken a bit too far, as seen in the incredible corkscrew jump scene (complete with redneck commentary and sound effect).
Craig makes for a darker Bond film that doesn't forget its history, in other words.
I haven't seen it yet, but I agree with your point about the villain; a good guy vs bad guy movie is only as good as its villain, and if the villain is weak, then the movie will be weak.

That scene is utterly ridiculous. I'm amazed someone actually thought adding the sound effect would be a good idea. The Craig movies have definitely succeeded in modernizing the franchise while retaining those elements that make James Bond a unique franchise instead of just another action spy movie.
Nah, I'll pass. Make Bond a woman, a new race, make him a cyborg, or an alien from outer space. The movies of today seem to be obsessed with putting in a new this, that, and the other thing to preach to me that I NEED to be ok with it and fvk me if I don't like it. Yeah, screw that. I go to movies to be entertained. Maybe No Time to Die has entertaining segments, but I'm not going to pay to find out. Really don't care after all the other popular franchises have had agendas inserted in their latest installments because these new writers and directors seem obligated to reflect the topical times we are living in.
