I saw a Mac ad at the cinema yesterday.. nothing funny about them. From the complete silence of several hundred people I could tell everyone there agreed with me.

Considering XP still holds 82.65% of the market, and Vista isn't far behind OS X, I really don't think Microsoft has anything to worry about with these adverts. I used to find them funny, but now they're just getting stupid.

I don't think the marketers at MAC think about what they're saying... They're going for that whole "let's talk about the opponent's weaknesses, not ours."

Macs only look nicer, in the long run, PCs are much better.

i've been a pc user my whole life. i kinda just grew up with them because my dad used one at work so we had one at home too. those mac ads used to be funny because being a pc user, i knew most of it was true. however, most of the points they make on those ads are getting a little too exagerated and just plain annoying. i'll be switching to a mac for my next computer but dont worry, i wont turn into one of those elitists @ss h0les because i know what it's like from both sides. :P

I didn't really see much of a point to that advert, Microsoft don't design the PC's, they just design the OS, and any laptop manufacturer could use that idea. It is indeed a good idea, to be honest.

vista is horrible right now. when you install it, if you don't install it exactly right, it just doesn't work the way its advertised and on a whole is horrible compared to xp.

at least apple does their major updates right.

that pic made me LOL:lol: but honestly, that is one of the points i disagree with. if you're buying a mac, you're not going to be playing games. and why do people upgrade their PCs? usually its because they want to be able to play the latest games.
