anything by The Fray for sure, Right Here in Your Arms by H.I.M. has been stuck in my head for years as well.
Did you say country? Then she's definately what you want!
Other than that there's Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ice T and Ice Cube.
EDIT: Whoops, didn't read your post properly.
Anyway try The Beatles, MJ, Elvis, Maroon 5, Bodycount and Stevie Wonder.
REALLY digging this right now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q3ZYhu6h8k This band is my main motivation to get up in the morning...
The Temper Trap, Kings of Leon, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, Mumford and Sons, Mumm-Ra, Mutemath, Manchester Orchestra, etc.
Um depends on what music you like. I'm really into Crystal Castles right now
Crystal Castles - Vanished
Crystal Castles - Lovers Who Uncover
Crystal Castles - Crimewave
But I'll pretty much listen to anything by Hollywood Undead, Pendulum, The Killers, Angels and Airwaves.
- Fang Island - Progressive/Alternative
Mainly instrumental, vocals are mostly chant-like, with a few exceptions
- Coheed and Cambria - Progressive/Alternative/Punk/Post-Hardcore/Metal
Has lots of different sounds (I linked their best know/argueably most accesible song... Even if it's not one I usually link)
- Eluveitie - Folk Metal/Celtic/Melodic Death Metal
Has an acoustic album; mainly female vocals without "screams"/"growls" (I linked a song with female and male vocals; I beleive it's in Gaulish, but they do sing in English too)
- Alkaline Trio - Punk/Pop-Punk
Earlier stuff (and to extent their newest album) is more punk, later stuff is more pop-punk
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Symphonic Metal
Has 3 Christmas albums :)
- "I Won't Be Home for Christmas" - blink-182
Eh, what I've been listening to lately. :P
