Just kidding, just kidding. This is common with certain breeds of dogs, but mainly with their own poop and not pee. 

What might be happening, is since dogs like sweet objects, he might be finding his urine to be sweet smelling and tasting.  This is why dogs are attracted to chocolate and anti-freeze.  My friends dog actually died from drinking anti-freeze and the vet, said its not like an epidemic, but its common for dogs to like the smell and taste of antifreeze as its sweet.  Same with chocolate, which people know about more-so then anti-freeze.  And chocolate, well we all knwo its bad for dogs.  Some can die, but some dont.  Anti-freeze, well thats just poisonous, so yeah, death 99% of the time Im sure.

So my conclusion, is he finds his pee sweet smelling and tasting and likes it.

hahaha, thats cause hes trying to clean out his digestive systems.  Cats and Dogs both eat grass to do that.  I have seen my friend cats eat "Smokable Grass" before and man did he just lay around and sometime he would trip out and start running circles around the furniture.  It was sketchy.  We got lots of that "Smokable" stuff up here in B.C. Canada. :D
