Jocks vs Band Geeks, what ever you want to call it.... these are two talented groups of people that are extreme opposites, who's side are you on?

I've always been far more into music than sports, and I was a bit of a 'band geek' in high school, so...there you have it.

since i have no musical talent i'll go with jocks... even though i don't think the stereotypical knuckle-dragging jock image applies to me.

I don't like watching sports, but I do like listening to music. So I'll side with the people entertaining me.

Musicians, because I actually find music interesting, while I respect the physical capabilities of athletes...sports are boring as **** to watch.

I don't agree its hard to be a breakthrough musician as well as pro athlete, also it depends on the sport. Musicians for me.

this, except replace hockey with baseball. but if i had to choose to only play baseball or guitar the rest of my life, i'd probably go with baseball.

i never said being a successful musician was easy. learn to read. but with everything professional athletes have to do, especially football and basketball players, it is easily tougher than just playing music at a high level

I'd agree given the term 'successful,' but when the term 'successful' applies to artists like Ke$ha, it isn't too difficult to achieve. Unlike a specific sport, a specific instrument has limitless possibilities. There's far more there to discover, and playing on a team (playing well, anyway) is similar to playing in a band. The distinction between the two fields in my view comes from the ultimate goal (in my mind) of each: do you prefer creating something new and unique yet theoretically sound (music), or do you prefer flawlessly executing the rules and plans laid out for you while remaining at the top of your physical condition (sports)? I personally prefer the former, so I'll go with music.

Probably choice B, as I'd probably have more in common with them.
