Poll Mozzarella Sticks or Cheese Curds? (19 votes)

Mozzarella Sticks 68%
Cheese Curds 32%

I would probably say cheese curds. I find them to be underrated, imo, especially with marinara sauce. Although, I do love mozzarella sticks.

I’m going curds because you use them in a poutine and it’s delicious.

Aren’t they white though?

They are sometimes. They can be yellow, too.

Neither it was just yesterday I walk by the cheese area and look at this stuff. It remind me of old friend from a long time ago. It was a question for him but I have my phone turn off at time unfortunately.

I don’t care for either but I’d choose mozzarella dicks over cheese turds.

Cheese curds; they melt better, have a better texture.

They're more or less the same thing, though, mozz is just boiled and then pulled to make it smoother. Cheese curds is just mozz, but not boiled and pulled.

Cheese curds are good, but mozzarella sticks are much better. It may be the batter they use or the oil or the dipping sauce, but it feels/tastes richer.

Places like Dairy Queen, Culver's, A&W, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. have cheese curds. There's also frozen cheese curds at Walmart and some grocery stores.

Never heard of those places either apart from Walmart. I suppose these are similar to cheddar cheese bites.

I went with mozzarella sticks because they usually have a seasoned coating, and I always eat them with marinara, but curds I always have plain.

Yup. I am from England. I am sure we have cheese curds somewhere. Probably not popular in England.
