Most awkward family moments?

I slept over at my brother's once with my sister. he gave us his room and took the couch. well he sleeps in his underwear and when me and my sister woke up and went into the room, well the cover was off him, and let's say there was something hanging out. yeah that was damn awkward and traumatizing. Mine is when my mom caught me and a friend smoking pot in my room. It didn't turn out to be that big of a deal though.

Parents finding out that I had been watching porn. Pretty embarrasing. Especially as they raised the issue in front of my sister. I still haven't really forgiven them for that. Bad parenting, something I would never do to another child. I've learnt from my parents alot of things NOT to do to a child.

They are kind of jaded about some things, swearing is one, but they automatically assume that porn = regarding women as items.

Alright so one of my friends Dad has been having issues and arguments with him and pot, and then one day my friend was just, looking for a sharpie or his keys or something, that doesn't matter, but anyway, what does he find? His dad's stash :lol: Pipe and everything.

It's one thing when your parent's catch you smoking/posession of pot, but, it was the other way around this time. Talk about Ownage.

Oh haha, I'm sure he did, or he could have just been so shocked and surprised, then impulsively took the bag and said "hey dad...WTF IS THIS HUH?!"

hmm no awkward family moments for.....of god *throws up* i just remembered one. When i was about 8 after we came back from holidays my parents were in their room and the phone rang. I got the phone and it was someone for my mum so i knocked on their door....no answer so i just opened the door and....my mum was basically on top of my dad in a awkward position thank the lord i didn't see any nudity. *beats head in* god dam i cant get the image out of my head now. My parents have never said anything about it that day and have never said anything about it for 7 years.

One day my friend was being incredibly weird. He went on google and started typing in some of the dumbest things ever, i wont say them but they were really dirty and very wrong. It was pretty funny but the next day my mum went onto google and the huge search bar showed up. I was in the shower at the time and she said that she needs to talk to me about some stuff she found on my pc. To make it even worse my dad came round before i was out the shower and i heard her talking to him about it. I really really didn't want to leave the room i was in, i stayed there for about 30 mins before i decided to confront them.

That was extremely awkward and the ride with my dad to his house was completely silent.

Another awkward moment was when i was with my friend (same one from before.) I wanted to see what his reaction would be if i told him i was gay for a joke (i'm not.) I was being really serious about it and when i told him my dad was standing at the door. We both saw him and burst out laughing. To this day i don't know if he heard me or not :P

I played a joke on my dad once ... I told him in a very serious manner that I was homosexual.

Then I started laughing ...

The look on his face was priceless.

well my mum was out shopping my GF ex now came over and we had some fun time about halfway through my mum cam up the stairs and into my room to ask for a hand with the shopping and she caught us doing it, the weird thing was she only said i hope your wearing protection said hello to my GF and walked out. i was walking down the hallway in my old house, and i heard someone in the bathroom. but when i walked past it, my step brother had the door WIDE open he didn't see me but he didn't wash his hands when he flushed and was running down the hall before it could even flush. that used to always do that but if he would see who ever walked by he would scream and say something lik WHAT THE F### ARE YOU DOING?!?! HOLY F###ING S##t!!!!!!! like it was our fault he left the door WIDE open.

I go to University far away from home in England and my dad was driving me up there with my stuff because I don't drive and it's about a 3 hour drive and roughly 45 minutes into it, after we'd been having a completely quiet trip so far, he suddenly asks me if I'm gay that was incredibly awkward............... he reasoning for this was because I don't drink and he hasn't ever caught me sneeking a look at the adult pictures in the newspapers (he get the Times, a very respectable newspaper, and The Sun, a British tabloid paper which always has a hot topless chick on page 3). As you can imagine, the following 2 hours were filled with an awkward silence.donwoogie

Well, when I was younger I told my dad and grandparents a joke that involved 'the C word' without really know just how offensive that word is... long silence after that, but I still think the joke's hilarious!

Another was when I got drunk off my face at a family gathering and puked red wine all over our bathroom wall. Nice...

hmm... this afternoon my mom woke me up by asking if I was dead. that was sorda strange... ooo I got one.... My sister and my borther in law live just a couple minutes away.... At the time I had just started dating this one girl... So we're in my room... going at it.... I thought I heard something... ahhh whatever.... I keep going,.... So we finish, and decide to go to starbucks,... welll, on the way out who's there coming from their car to greet us? Why it's my sis and brother in law!! My gf has never met them... and we come walking over to them all sweaty... I'm not going to go through the whole conversation, but let me tell you, it was damn awkward. Ah and this worst part? yeah i was 18 at time she was 22 nearly so its all legal, since 16 is the age here.

Alright well I was at my cousins (shes a girl I'm a guy) graduation party. Hadn't seen anyone on my dads side of the family in FOREVER since my dad went to jail.

Well towards the end of the party my cousin comes walking around with a U of M shirt on. Not thinking, I looked at the shirt quickly to read it and asked her "so you're going to U of M?".

She said yes and gave me a really weird look. I hadn't thought anything of it but I guess she thought I was checking her out for some reason....

One day a telemarketer called my house.

I started cursing at him.

Later I found out it was actually my uncle, and I misunderstood him because of his engrish.

My mom caught me while I was watching porn. I quickly tried to turn it down and minimize the window, but I accidentally turned up the sound even higher. She still loves to remind me about it! :lol:Quadrifoglio

The same thing happened to me but when I got in the room they shouted "Charlie! get out, we are doing paperwork" and because I was 7 at the time I believed them until my sister told me what really happened...
