Vick is probably guilty and he will have to pay the price. But i'm pretty sick of these morons who are trying to demonize this crime into something far worse than it is. Yes, dog fighting is brutal, sad, and cruel, but there are far worse atrocities comitted on a daily basis, in this country and around the world. I have a dog that i care about very much, but i dont forget that is a damn dog. PEOPLE are brutalizing each other every day. PEOPLE are maimed, killed, and raped every day. In the world of sports, Darren Williams was gunned down only a few months ago. Where was the outcry?!? It was on the news for a couple of days and forgotten. All of you people trying to turn this into something it is not are simply pathetic.
Again, dog fighting is illegal in this country, and Vick should pay the price if he's found guilty. But after that he should go play football again if he still has the ability, and go on with his life. Dogs are just dogs. I dont hear people protesting in the streets about cock fighting. I guess these hipocrities only care about the animals they dont eat. Our priorities in America are tragically messed up.
