Didn't know you still posted here Aljosa.
Also, I'm sorta hyped as it looks a lot better than AoS and Agent Carter.
Shouldn't you people be watching sports instead?
Can watch this whenever - sports is only on at a specific time. Besides, football/"soccer" is usually only weekends.
I'm still getting PTSD flashbacks from Ben Afleck's interpretation.
Yeah, I really don't care to be honest. lol
Genuinely surprised that most people here aren't all that hyped for it. It's in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the reviews have been very, very, strong. Just watched the first two eps and they were damn good.
Not hyped, but will check it out; maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised; wasn't hyped for The Flash either and ended up surprising me.
saw the first episode and it wasn't bad. much better than the TV series that DC makes. the fight scenes was also pretty good. acting was superb

I thought Netflix purpose was to watch stuff when you want? football and soccer maybe weekend sports, but basketball/baseball is through the week as well.
Was very good, makes pretty much all other "superhero" shows look like complete shit.
Then again its not fair to compare Network TV to a Premium channel/service. It would be like me comparing CSI:Whatever to True Detective, totally unfair. Then again, this is probably why network tv is dying. They should step it up. Hannibal owns though.
The first episode was pretty good so I'll keep watching. The Flash is still the best superhero show, though.

To each their own.
I think it makes Flash seem like complete garbage, even though I love that show. DD is on a different level. The acting, cinematography, fight choreography and action, script, the lack of serialized villain of the week format (rather a 13 hour long movie format).
Both should be watched though.
Almost surprised people are using Ben Affleck's Daredevil as a reason not to watch it. That's like using Batman and Robin as a reason not to watch The Dark Knight.
After watching the first episode I think that it isn't going to be too bad, although I'm not looking at it to be a masterpiece either. The show did look awesome in 4K, though.

It doesn't really go into high gear until the fourth episode.

Not Dark Knight. Batman Begins. Begins actually had a problems convincing people to see it because of how terrible Batman & Robin was.
Anyway, back to DD. Almost done with it. Great show. The fight scenes were a bit overhyped, but they're really excellent. I think it's 3rd or 4th best action I've ever seen on TV and comfortably above anything we've seen from superhero genre, on tv or in cinema, in many years.
I love the dark tone and both Murdock and Fisk are well developed. The crime side of the setting is unfortunatelly pretty weak. I didn't expet realistic stuff like Wire or Southland, but even in pulpish aproach it;'s just not all that interesting, especially when you compare it to insanity of Banshee. Plus the show is very slow . Episode to episode not all that much happen, but I guess that's because it was designed from ground up for binge watching. Plus it's more often good kind of slow, than bad one.
The superhero and ninja stuff is pure awesomeness though.
Overall I love it so far. Easily the best thing that eve camed out of Marvel's shared universe. The only thing comparable to it in superhero genre right now is Flash and they're so widely different that comparing them is almost impossible.
Great times to be comicbook fan.
Watched the season and really, really enjoyed it. I liked it more than Arrow due to the great fight choreography and the season feeling like one whole complete story.
Just watched the pilot, definitely better than expected, feels quite cinematic than cheap looking tat, which is what I was expecting.
Finished it. The show felt apart a lot in last four episodes. Barely anything happened. There were no more good fight scenes, the villain's fall camed out from nowhere too. Didn't feel like heroes earned it. One of most interesting side villains died without fanfare, while he still should have been heavily explored. His death felt like writers broke the promise they made to me as a viewer
Plus the red suit was terrible. Once he put it on the whole think looked exctly like the Affleck version. It was especially jarring because of how much it's goofiness clashed with gritty style of the whole show. Seriously, that ending scene felt like something from the smallville.
Also..overall the fight scenes jumped off the cliff after episode 3. Afte that there were only two more interesting ones (Stick and ninja), but they were interesting mostly because what happened in them, not how.
The last batch of eps has heavily lowered my opinion of the show. But it's still overall a good show. I would give S1 a 8/10
@Aljosa23: Prepared for Mou's second home loss as Chelsea manager?
The way we've been playing lately, I'm bracing for it.
Finished the season. Was enjoyable. Though a bit melodramatic at times and certainly added in unnecessary story lines. It's about equal to the Arrow and Flash and a bit better than Gotham.
Glad I watched this, quickly becoming my favorite show. If I had one complaint, it would that the B-story with his friends, even though it linked with the main storyline isn't very interesting.
Watching the criminals work is great though, Vincent D'Onofrio in particular - the speech he had about him with the priest very much reminded me of the tangerine Dark Knight but better.
Most live action superhero shows are shit, not sure if it's even worth the effort of clicking.

What contrast. :P
Ace fight scenes. That corridor fight would put most movies to shame.
That corridor fight scene reminded me of OldBoy.

It did seem like maybe it was inspired by that. Seems to have abit of a wire thing going as well, much the time taken up by following the villains as if they are going about normal day business. Even the Kingpin (again never read the comics) is portrayed as a bad person trying to do good in his own warped way.
It's alright.. I don't know how the story is going to progress (I am up only to the third episode).. My beef with it is the fact that the "realism" they are going leads to the feeling that Daredevil is incredibly weak struggling with a handful of thugs.. He doesn't feel like Daredevil, I hope this changes later on in the series..
