I’m sure there’s been a few for me over the years but,

I remember in The Goonies it was the Asian kid who broke the frame with the map in it up in the attic. I also remember him cutting his finger on a piece of the glass but that never happened. (This was on an old VHS copy that we had.) Wish I still had it!

That sounds familiar I haven't watched the Goonies since I was a kid so I can't remember that clearly. I use to be pretty deep into the Mandela Effect but these days I'm more skeptical of it. I think it's mostly due to bad memory but it's fascinating and mind blowing when you first get into it. It freaked me the **** out for quite a while. The one that got me that I can't explain is from the movie Apollo 13 the Houston we have a problem line flip flopped on me back in 2016 but that could be a false memory.

In Shakespearian masterpiece "Bloodsport" we use to always think Bolo said "You Break my record, I break you"with broken English.

What he actually says is...

@uninspiredcup: doesn't matter what he said, that dude is the greatest son of a bitch to have ever graced the status of being a son of a bitch. One of the reasons Bloodsport is the greatest movie of all time. And elevated splits.

I literally just realized about about 30 minutes ago it's where Tatsumaki was lifted from.

Yea, he's a cop chasing after him to bring him back. But forgets about it because plot demands hero gets revenge, for his brain-dead Zangief friend. Even though he sort of deserved it for boasting and acting arrogant instead of taking Bolo seriously? Given how he literally snapped a mans leg for fun about 3 fights ago?

Another one that a lot of people get tripped up by is "Hello Clarice" from Silence of the Lambs. I only watched that movie in 2017 and I could of sworn he said that on their first encounter.

What I think I might be confused by is that maybe when I first saw a trailer on a VHS tape I think they edited his voice in to say that on a specific scene. (It always comes back to the VHS.) Lol

I think he does say "Hello Clarice", but it's definitely not on the first encounter, he tries to describe her character on minimal details to show was a clever clogs he is.

I remember thinking that, in Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vadar said, "Luke, I am your father"... In reality, this is what he said:

@uninspiredcup: I'm at work and video won't play. What the hell does he say? I've seen that movie at least 10 times and always heard exactly that.

@heathen75: On the phone scene at the end he says "Well Clarice" before he goes off to munch on his old landlord. So, might be that big people are mistaking as "Hello".

That's what I always heard. So anticlimactic. Thanks for the quick replies though.

I think the fight itself delivers.

It's nonsense and completely over the top, like, WWE level shanghais.

But that's, kinda what you want in a movie like this.

@uninspiredcup: I meant the fact that I thought something different was said when it wasn't different was anticlimactic. That last fight totally delivered. That whole movie delivers. Was the 1st movie I can remember that represented so many styles in one movie.

And it has this awesome dude!
