I like how we still pretend to be upset about the very idea of someone smoking weed. Two states have it legalized now and the sky didn't fall,and it's been a regular pastime at public venues like concerts for years now.

Even though I'm no fan of Obama, I totally agree. When stuff like this makes the news, it shows that the media has no respect for our intelligence.

It is legal for adults not teens in any state.

The states that legalized it for recreational use set the minimum age to 21. The age may be lower for a medical prescription.

Obama has been releasing a lot of non-violent drug offenders and admitted to smoking pot in his youth. I am pretty sure his stance on the war on drugs is not a particulary positive one.

What shocks me is how tobacco cigarettes are something the government loves but the line is crossed when it is another weed smoked. As someone who has never smoked anything, I can guarantee a mary jane and a Marlboro would have the same exact effect on me.

Yes, what made you stop. Great question. I had a friend who tried, but never succeeded. It is difficult. At times i wonder if the commercials make a difference.

@LexLas: I just didn't like how I was feeling. I couldn't run far as I used to, hell just walking was a struggle so I just stopped. I never felt like I was addicted maybe that's why it was easy.
