Don't know who's this Lu Bu you're talking about but Miamoto Musashi is arguably the best warrior and duelist to ever walk Japan.ZyamamanLu Bu is a semi-mythalogical (like Daniel Boon) character in Chinese history (The Romance of the Three Kingdoms). He is regarded as the greatest warrior to ever been born in China and he was made up to be almost god-like in strength. (lol check the Dynasty Warriors games if you want an immediate reference)...Although like Musashi alot of his exploits are legend.
Lu Bu is a semi-mythalogicalLegacyoftain
Exactly.
He's a semi-mithological characte, we know nothing about his actual abilities, while Musashi is a real, historically acurate character and most of his deeds are confirmed by sources other than his own book, he has founded his own fighting school and written a book, while Bu is just a legend.
Lu Bu was one of the toughest warriors alive and had an awesome horse. Master at riding, archery and armed combat. The ultimate warrior.Hinata237
That's what the legend tells us. Musashi is a real character and he is righfully considered to be one of the most skilled swrodsmen to ever live.

Lu Bu is real, but alot of people say he can shoot fire balls and junk like that, when he was just the ultimate warrior, archer and horse rider. Lu Bu is real, not a legend but his powers are very exagerrated.Lu Bu is real, but alot of people say he can shoot fire balls and junk like that, when he was just the ultimate warrior, archer and horse rider. I'm not denying that there once was a man called Lu Bu, but as you said - we know nothing about his abilities, they are all purely legendary!
But we can without a shadow of a doubt say that Musashi is real, and all of his accomplishments are real as well.
He is rightfully considered one of the best swordsmen ever, while Bu is just a myth.

Well, there are stories of Miyamoto being able to walk on water, fly through the air, and him not being capable of defeating all of his opponents without help from his students.....

I mean his accomplishments described in his book.
He defeated many famous opponents, that's why he's considerd a great swordsman, we don't take the local folklore into account like all the water walking.Â
Lu Bu is was a military general and minor warlord during the late Eastern Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. According to the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms, Lǚ Bù was a master in horse riding, archery, and armed combat, and was thus known as the Flying General. His image as a handsome and mighty warrior wielding a Ji (halberd) on top of his steed Red Hare was later popularized by the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Miyamoto Musashi was a famous Japanese samurai, and is considered by many to have been one of the most skilled swordsmen in history. Musashi, as he is often simply known, became legendary through his outstanding swordsmanship in numerous duels, even from a very young age BTW I go with LU BU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!mohan88
Way to go for copy-pasting from Wiki, dude...
As I said, Musashi is a real person while Bu is just a myth.Â

While Musashi was noted to be a fine Samurai, Jubai Yagu was noted to be the greatest Swordsman in Japan.
However I have voted for Musashi and I will tell you why, one by the time of Musashi's birth Lu Bu was a good 1400 odd years dead and how hard can it be to beat up a dead guy?lol the other reason is Lu Bu although a strong warrior was also foolhardy a weakness a Samurai would exploit.
As I said, Musashi is a real person while Bu is just a myth.
Zyamaman
There is alot of evidence that proves the fact Lu Bu was no myth he is documented in the Romance of the three kingdoms and is metioned breefly manuscripts thought to belong to the War Lord and First emperor of Wei Cao Cao as well as other text dating back to the fall of the Han empire.
The Chinese were adept at preserving their history.
Lu Bu. I mean c'mon guys this is LU BU. He makes Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee look like the freakin rugrats.
