Light theme or Dark theme, vote and win .......

Dark theme. It has always been dark. I don't know how some people can stand white.

White background and black text is actually easier on the eyes, because with a black background your pupils open more and light colored text becomes over-saturated on the retina (ambient lighting plays a role here as well).

If white backgrounds are too bright for your eyes you need to calibrate your monitor.

I just did and I admit it's not that bad now. Still though, when my room is kinda dark even this darker white can be a little annoying. I know it would be healthier for my eyes to have a better-lit room but habit is habit...

For my eyes' sake...definitely dark.

I have a 40-watt desk lamp behind my monitor. It's perfect because the brightest area is hidden by the monitor and the lighting around the monitor is uniform from my perspective.

I like it nice and dark... I love hiding in the darkness too...

I wear Contacts but the dark/light theme I'm cool with both but if I got to pick one, it's Dark Theme. The Darkness calls to me. (Oh and I need to play the second one, I miss out)

Did love that dark theme. I know I have my nostalgia glasses on but I just loved the color scheme of the website before this.

I voted white... then I realized I haven't even tried dark since the site changed. I would change my vote now if I could.

I'm glad they decided to change the colour of that bloody search bar. Much less distracting now.

I actually prefer the light theme, if it hurts your eyes you might want to consider lowering the brightness of your screen. Or maybe you're all just a bunch of old geezers with eye problems ^^

Why would you want to do that? Lol, adjusting brightness shouldn't be required at all, I don't adjust my brightness when I go to other sites with white backgrounds so why should I do it with this one?

While we're on the subject of liking web site designs dark, I feel I should also mention that I love sleeping in my room in complete darkness too. :P

So yeah, dark web site and dark room for sleeping. :P
