Nekromantik? I think this movie was the one the guy in Clockwork Orange was watching.

Man **** the Germans.I still remember watching the Antichrist a few years ago. What's with the Germans making this type of movies.Still i will probably finish watching it at some point when i'm not having dinner.
Teen Wolf.I have never watched this movie cause i thought it was too silly. But thanks to the Germans i watched it as a back-up movie to Nekromantik. It was ok.
Godzilla: King Of The Monsters - The whole mother, daughter overwrought emotional scenes fall flat, don't really care about the army people doing stuff. Didn't care about the terrorists with evil GOT British villain man.
The only time remotely cared about a human character was serizawa sacrifice scene, which was, probably the best scene in the entire movie.
The monster fights are mostly fun, and unlike the first movie, it isn't ashamed to be a monster a movie, it seems to revel in it. Although it was more like you were watching silhouettes at time due to all the shit on the screen.
Over the weekend I watched Saving Silverman and Tommy Boy as background noise while I worked on a puzzle and my wife did some artistic stuff. Movies and tv are nice, but I feel kind of bad about myself if I do nothing, but binge them all day.
We actually watched the second half of Fellowship of the Ring, we had seen the first half about a week earlier, and The Croods.
Doctor Sleep. Watched the director's cut and it was superb. Wayyy better than the critics would have you believe!
Is it scary?
A comedy classic with an all star cast.
It has....
Weird Al
That annoying squeaky voiced chick from SNL
That old guy that's been in a bunch of movies since the 50's
That not so old guy that was in a lot of small roles in the 80's
That guy from Seinfeld that went on a racist rant
That curly haired dude from General Hospital
The Mexican gang banger from Colors
That annoying squeaky voiced chick from the Nanny
That one dude from the Sopranos
and the always great Long Duk Dong
It doesn't get much better than that.
Fighting With My Family, it was alright not a huge fan of Paige but it was interesting seeing her story making to NXT then joining WWE. 7/10.
Doctor Sleep. Watched the director's cut and it was superb. Wayyy better than the critics would have you believe!
Is it scary?
There are some spooky moments for sure, although I wouldn't say that the film is overly scary. Feels more like a thriller than a horror to me, and a superb sequel to The Shining.
If you were a fan of that then you'll love this. Solid acting performances all round, with interesting yet dark themes and a gripping finale.
I will say that there at least two truly disturbing scenes however.
The World, the flesh and the devil.Honestly i was a bit dissapointed with this movie. The first part of the mc wandering around was pretty boring. Then the love triangle was kinda confusing. They were one of the remnants of Mankind and yet were fumbling around deciding if they should **** or not cause of this or that.It remind me of a story i forgot the author were some poor guy was trying so hard to have sex with a stuck up chick in an apocalypse scenario...cause they were literally the last people in earth and in the end she locked him up in the bathroom? and run away.
Then in the end i admit i laughed when after the chick hooked up with the mc.She also called the ''Devil'' and all of them walked hand in hand into the sunset.

I enjoyed Shining back in the day. I will watch Doctor Sleep
, thanks :)

No worries, hope you enjoy :D
Lovelace, Amanda Seyfried was great as Linda Lovelace. Always wanted know about her as her life was interesting with her husband abusing her and forcing her into porn. 9/10.
What a piece of garbage. I had expected a touching survival recount of a real story in the frontiersmen era. Plus the fact that I'm really interested in the wild life and camping, everything promised an enjoyable 2 hour spell. Actually, technically speaking, The Revenant is a high quality movie with those camera movements and well done special effects. But it all remains on the surface. I don't get the philosophy behind adding the character of half-Pawnee son to the film scenario. It's just doesn't fit. Not to mention the historical reports that states clearly Anglo people never really merged with indigenous people. It were the French and the Spanish who did it. It seems to me these days that a Hollywood movie can't be made unless it follows some sort of leftist and cultural Marxist agenda. Like this it's a prerequisite for a movie to get funding and approval from influential people in this filthy business. What a piece of garbage indeed!
I just finished watching this movie it has so many similarities to what is going in real life it's crazy. When I heard the word social distancing I almost flipped my shit it also started with a bat too.
A movie called Saved from 2004. It's kind of like combination of Mean Girls and Juno, but set in a christian high school. Most of the kids are super christian and the way they behave is incredibly frustrating, but you have to remember that this is what they have been taught their whole lives and you really have to focus your frustration on the adults who have taught them that this is the correct way to behave rather than being upset with the kids who are just starting to learn that life is cast in shades of grey and not the black in white that religion says it is.
That said, it's a really good movie and I recommend it if you can find it. Personally I found it while sailing the seven seas, so I can't quite tell you where to get it.
Blu-ray. Was waiting for the inevitable 4K release before I rewatched this after like fifteen years, but it looks like that's never gonna happen now. Thanks, Disney, for sitting on all those Fox titles you bought.
8/10
Find it so weird that it's rated so high by critics and so low by audiences. Such a well done action movie.
Elvira's Movie Macabre: Count Dracula's Great Love.I never watched any of Elvira's shows for several reasons but Man she sure makes watching a cheesy old movie worth it.As for the movie...well i should say if you love Horror movies and have a few beers in the tank you will have your fun. This movie is basically a Horror sexploitation movie from the glorious 70's.
Outlander.I never watched this movie properly so i did today and Man the movie is pretty good. The only thing i didn't like was the hippie pity train rant the mc gave close to the end.His family got killed by horrible monsters.Must be the fault of his species. They should have stopped the bombings and then land on the planet and sing kumbaya with this incredible dangerous creatures.
Raw Deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger. More low-key than some of his bigger hits, but it's still entertaining. It's one of my go-to movies whenever I'm in the mood to watch something, but not sure what I'm in the mood for.
@Byshop: Have you seen Mandy? I'm trying to get up and off to sign up for the 30 free days. Is it worth t
Electric Boogaloo : The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films -
This was fantastic. I mean it wasn't some in depth documentary, more a celebration of the company and the (insane) owners.
Faust(2011)....kinda? i have come to the realization that i just don't like German movies.I have known about the Faust story and i thought it was great.I think i saw an old movie or show about it.But this movie from the Germans themselves...i was having more fun doing the dishes. There is some things in German movies that go beyond the uncanny valley for me.That movie about the german submarine is probably the last german movie i watch in my life.
