Well I won't go through every single book I've read so far this summer, but the very last one was The Gunslinger by Stephen King. First King book I've ever read, and so yesterday I picked up the next two in the Dark Tower series and plan on reading them in the next few days.

its not Cormac McCarthy's best, but I still liked it. Suttree is the best of his by far.

I actually liked the movie more than the book, it was more focused. The Novel seemed a bit excessive at times.

Yea, the book seems much worse then the movie was, not to say it isn't good, although it certainly isn't his best. My favorite from him, from what I read so far is The Rules of Attraction.

I read the translation by Robin Kirkpatrick (Penguin Books), and it was good. It also had all the notes at the beginning and end, so they didn't interrupt the reading.

I didn't really like The Road. I have yet to read Suttree, though I've read most of McCarthy's works. Blood Meridian is easily my favorite, though I've liked pretty much everything by him.

Have you got the last of the Olympian books? The last Olympian is the best of the series and it confirms that he will start a second series.

The last "book" I read is a Manga called GOTH which is an adaption of a novel under the same name. The Story is written by Otsuichi and the Manga's art is by Kendi Oiwa. It's a must read if you are interested in dark stories... Though be informed, the ending will probably leave you confused, which is why you need to read the novel also ha.

I have only seen the American Movie that came out a few (maybe longer) years ago. As with most books to movies-I hated the movie. Other people that were with me that had not read the book liked the movie. The book is much darker Intelligence and revenge are a much bigger part

Yeah, Tom Clancy stuff is great. Some personal favorites are The Hunt for Red October, Without Remorse, Red Storm Rising and Sum of All Fears. Just make sure you stop reading his stuff after the Sum of All Fears, everything after that gets really long and uninteresting.

I just finished reading Star Wars: The Approaching Storm. It was an okay book. Right now I'm reading Star Wars: Order 66. It's kind of a boring book. I don't know if I'll be able to finish it or not. :(
