From what I've learned in various history classes Muslims consider Jesus to be a prophet, but they view Mohammad as the most important and final prophet. This is accurate. For this reason some muslims have respect for Christians, calling them "people of the book".
Yeah but they are partial to brohammed.whipassmt
Yes they view Jesus as a prophet. More like a person of significance, but they view Mohammad as most important. But they do not view Jesus as God in human form as the Christians state.
Has nothing to do with christmas. Also above user that said chrisitinas are considered "people of the book" but not jews? Was not moses considered important?Yes they view Jesus as a prophet. Pretty sure both Jews and Christ followers are people of the book in Islam and are acceptable for marriage, providing you have a schlong i think.
Thats why i call these three religions the Triumvirate of Evil.
not quite , as far as I know a Muslim man can marry a Christian/Jewish woman , but not the other way around anyways, yes , they seem him as a prophet,Pretty sure both Jews and Christ followers are people of the book in Islam and are acceptable for marriage, providing you have a schlong i think.

I thnk a the anti-jewish sentiment prevalent in Islam has more to do with historical events than with any doctrinal disagreements. When the Muslim army first reclaimed Jerusalem during the crusades they were actually horrified at the iconoclasm of Jewish holy sites and tried to restore them along with Muslim holy sites.
The majority of Muslims I've met know very little about Islam. i once even heard one claim he didn't believe Jesus existed, the look on his face when I got out the Qu'ran was priceless.
All prophets in Islam are suppoesdly equal.
From what I've learned in various history classes Muslims consider Jesus to be a prophet, but they view Mohammad as the most important and final prophet. lets just assume every sect of the abrahamic religions was correct up to the point of the next one. jews are wrong because of christ, christians because of moham, and muslims because of john smith, and mormans because of Obama.
zing!

Yeah but they are partial to brohammed.whipassmt

Muslims aren't infallible, they're just as dumb as the rest of us.

According to the Quar'an, yes, but he is not considered a living manifestation of God. Muslims acknowledge Christians as people of the book, but they are also insistent upon correcting people's conception of Jesus. Muhammad is the most important prophet. And of course, the Jews are still waiting for their prophet.
