The answer to all of those questions is "no." I mean, the guy has been fat for hundreds of years, and despite that, growning concern of obesity rates has only been something that has been raised in the last 30 years or so.
Common sense would tell you that ifhe indeed were the cause, in all likely hood, the rates would have gone up lot sooner than they have.
