is it still fn offensive to ask a girl if shes on the rag(serious topic)

in the past few months ive had a few girls blow me up for some small as thing (suprised?) and each of them i asked if they were on the rag and they all just evil eyed me...... i was expecting a slap :? like what i said was the most evil of things ...... it seems its not as offensive as it once was.... or am i wrong :?

Bringing it up when they are arguing with you or yelling at you is only going to make things worse so i guess at certain times i wouldn't ask that but I wouldn't really call it offensive.

There's really no good reason to bring it up ... probably just sounds like you're trying to be crude/funny with them.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing if I don't know what that means. :|
