Interesting thoughts on time travel.

Time traveing to the future basically means our brains are not feeling time passing, and therefore WE feel as if time is going fast. It's all about perception. But how is time traveling to the past possible? If it already has passed, how can it be now? How can you go to the past when ITS ALREADY HAPPENED? Makes no sense.

And that would only be if the other dimensions are exactly the same just at a different time. If not, we could not travel to the future or past

So we're saying every night I sleep and my brain is not feeling time pass I'm time traveling, wow it is possible.

i don't think reverse time travel is possible. look at traveling to the past from a present perspective. going back in time would deconstruct the time machine and that's the end of that. you would simply go back in time to a point before you had started to travel, and be sitting in the machine. it couldn't go any further because the machine would take itself apart. this is assuming the machine you've created is effected by time, and if anyone could make a machine that wasn't effected by time i would be impressed. besides, if we went back in time, we wouldn't be able to help changing history, which would probably erase how the world is today, and preventing our existence. as for traveling forward, i think you've got that one. surely, you would age in the machine and die in it from starvation in the amount of time it takes you to travel forward a week or so.paullywog

You've got it backwards. When you travel forward in time (which is not only possible, but something that astronauts have already done), time appears to pass normally for yourself. While outsiders age more quickly, though their experience is that time is passing normally as well.

Well,i always thought time travel will be imposible...

Time is not made of matter,we can perhaps ,,feel'' the effects of time...

But we cant touch it,we cant smell it,we cant see it,and we cant truly feel it...

So,how can we go through time?

Maybe on a spiritual level?

I saw some scientists,freezing mice a couple of years bck on tv,but i dont think it can be called time travel ;)

Sometimes I foget how Hollywood, and books have ruined every bodies perception of time-traveling.

Ok now think about traveling ahead in time... easy right. You just put your body into a state of status (aka Freeze), and for all you know you're in the future. Now let's look at stopping time... All you need to do is put the entire world into a state of status, and vola time is stoppped. From this you should of gathered that time is a measurment of change. Time only passes because things change. If one could reverse that change then one could travel back in time. Of course reversing change on a worldwide scale is unthinkable at our current technology, hell even putting one person into a state of status is quite challenging for us.
