I joined Gamespot forums during PS2 era, in the early 00's.

And have been active here under various names and avatars ever since.

So, been here almost 20 years!

Which makes me one of the most senior Gamespotters around.

And why am I telling you this? Simple;

There are folk who have been here mere ten years or so. Newbies, in other words.

And yet these newbies think they're veteran members, and then strut around the forum like they were gods of gaming. And expect deference from us just because they've been here, whoa, ten years.

What newbies!!! No real veteran members they!

So, I'm pulling rank on all those egoistic newbies. I'm the real veteran here. Be told.

@henrythefifth: It amuses me that you believe their is some sort of arbitrary ranking system on a video gaming forum.

If there is such a ranking, I would base it on what the user writes rather than how long they have been around.
