I was excited when it was announced but after seeing the trailers and clips I lost all interest especially since it seems to be too "girl power".

Suicide Squad sucked so it wouldn't take much.

If it does blow us away then that's great but after the other DC live action stuff, I'm not expecting anything great.

Cool I hope its successful and maybe hopefully Jared Leto's Joker comeback as well. We never got to see enough of Jared version of the iconic willain due to what I see as a cancel culture.

Gamespot review gave Birds of Prey a 9/10. I guess it's tell me it's going to be really good.

Metacritic is at 59 and declining. I managed to somewhat enjoy Suicide Squad at a 40. I'll probably end up liking this one. I do love Margot's Harley, so it's nice to see more of her.

Also... RottenTomatoes is corrupt or unworkable. They've been fiddling about so much with user ratings, and their 'critics' have been so active in political ratings rather than movie critique that the site regularly doesn't represent the level of appreciation for a movie by either critics or users at all. The critics forego doing their job in order to manipulate the audience and RottenTomatoes has failed in fulfilling its presumed function to inform the public with some honesty.

It's the strange idea that reviews from critics should always count but reviews from users should be filtered according to someone's preferences. The problem with that is the wave of untrustworthy critics in a small pool, and the sheer number of user reviews, not being considered or perhaps intentionally misunderstood. If they left the public reviews intact and instead focused on filtering critic reviews based on whether they are actually reviewing the movies, it would probably be a more useful site. They are actively doing exactly the wrong things to maintain their function. So they are either corrupt and/or ineffective, and either way a bad source.
