When you become old and wrinkled and like 80 years old, are you just going to live in a retirement home, feeling potentially miserable and reflecting on your life? Not everyone gets to choose when they die so you don't know how long you will live. Living a casual life of roaming the Internet, going to your 9-5 job, coming back home for a cold beer, this won't last forever. How do you guys think you will reflect on your life? Or will you have friends that you'll grow old with and get nostalgic and share good times with?

I would rather die alone then just to be with some girl I do not love because I do not want to be alone. If it never clicks with me and a female, I'll die alone WITH NO REGRETS.

You say that now, but in 30 years... ? I'm sorry if I have just a tiny case of the skeptics.

I'm going to get a pair of Borat speedos, a douchey gold necklace, and some flipflops and go join all the other dirty old men in SE Asia as we patrol Beach Road in Pattaya in seach of Issan girls fresh off the farm.

I'm only 18. I don't know what I'll be doing for the rest of my life. Marriage isn't the only option, you know...Just because someone rejects the idea of marriage doesn't mean that they're doomed for an empty or pathetic life.

I don't know what I'll be doing. Maybe I'll have a long-term boyfriend, maybe I won't. Maybe I'll travel a lot. Maybe I'll have a job doing something I love. Maybe I won't. I have no idea, but I don't feel doomed because I don't like the idea of marriage and because I don't want to have children.

What about the married ones that live a long time after their partners death? Are they doomed as well?

I've always been against getting married and having a family. I don't think there's a situation in which you can live with someone for 40+ years and not get sick of them. In most cases, children are an annoyance, and you get no material refund. If anything, I plan to join the armed forces during the next conflict we have here in the United States, and die there.

I'll just live like Charlie from Two and a Half Men

charlie sheen

Lots of girls, lots of fun and the money to pay all that stuff

I don't plan to live to 80 years old, I'll die in Bed at like 60, like a man!

Nope. I'd still have my kids plus my relatives and their kids to keep me company just like we're doing with my mother in law who's here living with us. We take care of our own.

I want a family but I do not want to get married, it's pretty pointless. If you're happy the way you are then don't change it. A lot of people in my family were together with their partners for a long time, but when they got married, a few years after they broke up.

If I don't ever find a girl that I'll want to spend the rest of my life with, I'll commit suicide. I'll do this by doing risky, crazy things like sky-jumping, climbing mountains, joining the army, etc.

I'm married but we don't have kids and aren't going to. As for when I'm old, well, I plan on checking out before I become old and feeble. If it start's to get to the point where I can no longer take care of myself then I'll check out.

Pretty sure most people who have kids don't think of them as an annoyance, they usually turn out to be the most important things in their lives :P

I'm planning on posting lots of irrelevant threads on message boards just to annoy people, I get a real kick out of it.

Treesmasher, that you?

I have no plans to get married or have a family. However, you don't have to marry to have a significant other.

100% not having kids Probably not getting married (not the marrying kind) I am quite happy with my life, and I don't see that changing anytime soon ...so I will live as I do now
