It's odd too because my family doesn't have any locked doors, except of course for the ones that lead outside. and nobody in my family has ever gotten in trouble because one of the parents was rummaging through our stuff. In fact even when we had things to hide from them they still never did that, because whatever we were hiding usually always came out anyways.

There's nothing embarrassing in our house. My wife and I trust each other 110%. She knows she can go through my stuff anytime and I can go through hers anytime. We don't hide anything from each other.
