If You Could Make Your Own Band.........

What type of band would it be?

I'd probably make a band that adds and mixes different genres but not just cramming stuff just for the sake of it. I'd probably mix alternative, indie, industrial, and others along the line. Probably add and experiment a lot with different equipment, techniques, etc. and tone it down sometimes, really mixing genres isn't really important but the way you mix them is what really matters, you know the outcome.

A band made out of all synthesizers. I'd just be me and a bunch of computers making music. The computers would all be named and wear berets and mustaches.

For me, it would be Hard Rock/Heavy Metal.

With strong infuences from: Pantera, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, Motley Crue, Motorhead, Kiss, Aerosmith...

No psychotic growls and snorts and Screamo screams. Just plain old, Clear Vocals, Heavy riffs, melodic grooves, heavy bass drum, piercing guitar solos and pulse pounding bass. And of course, good ballads to make the women wet and swoon :D

... it would be the kind of band that would do pretty much anything the record label told me/us to do, in order to achieve maximum profit.

psychedelic polka

Im already in a band, although we just play for fun, we range from Trip-hop, to grunge, to psychedlic/ shoegazing

But if i had a real band, then i would love to do a mix of Trip-hop,psychedlic rock and grunge. It would basicaly sound something like, a mix of Portishead, early smashing pumpkins.... That would just be awesome:D
