If someone calls you a****** irl, how will you react?

I will call him back a p****.But not in a confrontation way if I can help it.Avoid fights nowadays.

Eh, it's nothing I haven't said about myself at one point or another. I've been called a helluva lot worse than a-hole.

Three options :

1) You're really an a****** so you should take the insult as a compliment and thank the provider of such compliment.

2) You're not an a****** so you should either discard the insult if it's not warranted or apologize if you somehow acted like one without being one.

3) You're Canadian automatically apologize for being an *** and move one.

Speak in fake tongues and make them shit their pants.

Depends on the context. If the person randomly said the a word, I'd brush it off. I've been called a lot worse.

Probably not talk to him or her.

A****** is quite specific and would probably mean I was in the wrong. I'd most likely hang my head in shame.

I'll complement the person on their keen observation.

Wouldn’t bother me, I am one irl. I’d just ignore it and keep away from the individual.

People call me that all the time for some reason. It’s a routine greeting. I’ll wave and say hi back.

I actually say that word a lot more than I hear it, usually in a friendly manner. How I would react if someone called me that depends on the situation. If it's genuine criticism I'd definitely appreciate it. But if it's an act of aggression I wouldn't throw it back, I'd just put that person on the appropriate list.

A “******” could be any number of different words, so I couldn’t say what my reaction would be.

Words in themselves don’t bother me, they have to be in a context that’s relevant to my past experiences or relationship. I don’t care what a stranger says, it’s not worth the bother, because they’re not important enough to care about.

Only people who really know me have the ability to hurt me with words.

I honestly don't know because it's never happened before. I'm a nice guy but I'm also big enough that my anger means something, as a friend once said, so no one really mouths off to me. Ironic because you could probably scream in my face and I'd just take it since I'm a big softy.

Yeah lol tbh I would pause just long enough for self-reflection and they might be right. We all do what some call "dick moves" from time to time, even the nicest of us, and sometimes we deserve to be called an asshole.

I wouldn't bother reacting. If they had a valid reason to call me names I'd afterwards admit it to myself, otherwise just laugh it off.

I'm not entirely sure I'm not one. Maybe I'm a d*** instead. But I'm not proud of it. It's kind of depressing that I can't control myself.

Probably stare in confusion because I know I'm not one in public. Then I would proceed to laugh it off and assume you're deranged.

We are all d***s. It's in the bible. Who could trust anyone who thinks he/she isn't?

Probably just laugh. If they were to get physical though I’d have to defend myself.

Logged into my Twitter account for the first time in a year the other day and was mortified to realise I actually am an a******. Why did no one tell me? Now convinced Twitter doesn't allow for deleting multiple tweets at once just to confront users with the blow-by-blow horror of their own past.

I'll just say, whatever and walk away cause I always believe in "Stick & Stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me" kind of thing. Road rage is another story.

Usually when I get called that, I'm being one, so I'll typically respond "Yup! Doesn't mean I'm wrong though".

In my yearly work evaluation I was told I need to "work on my attitude" so you can imagine I enjoy being a "villain" at work to a certain degree. Sometimes you have to wear certain words like a badge of honor.

I generally start a conversation off an apology with something to the effect of, "Sorry I can come off as a jerk sometimes but I am only joking." Then you can et away with anything

why would anyone call me a "Pee StarStarStarStar"? that just sounds funny. and lol that 4KIDS censorship and human beanly parts.
