He would be tripping, but like not visually. It would not really be much of a trip, he would just feel different. His emotions would change like when you trip. He would have the same side effects you get from acid, just not the visual ones.
Blind people do actually dream, though. They don't see anything, but they feel it.
I was wondering this the other day actually. I'm pretty sure the visuals you see have nothing to do with your eyes but are in a different part of your brain since LSD opens up so much stuff... I could be wrong though. I bet it has happened before, the CIA, other organizations, and people in generaldid a lot of experiments with it back in the day.
He obviously wouldn't see anything. Well it really depends, if he was born blind, then it would be more of an emotional/mental trip than a visual one, if they had lost their eyesight, then it would be like a flashback of the past things that he once saw (colors, images, etc.).
Well, if he was blinded at some point of his life, he would have memories, and I assume he would be able to replay them in his mind and be able to recall the colors. So he would see something after using LSD, just not using his eyes. A person blind from birth does not know what a certain color looks like, and could therefore not imagine it up on the spot, so he wouldn't see anything. I'm assuming a lot here.
Some blind people can still see mental images. Most lose it, but some who do it everyday can keep it. I read an article about it in psych class(all our homework was read this article and anwer questions)
LSD doesn't just affect the eyes. Many people with perfect vision will take it in a sensory deprivation tank (Joe Rogan, for one). Others will sometimes just blindfold themselves and listen to music. You can have a powerful trip without seeing anything out of the ordinary, essentially.
