I've seen just as bad. My friend was talking to this one girl a while ago and she was having trouble in school and ut up an away message that read something like this. "Man I hate ****ing school. I mean why do I need to learn stufff like history. Like knowing who the king of Rome was in 1850 is going to get me a job in the future." Of course the spelling and grammar wasn't like that, but that was her overall message. I almost died laughing.

That is pretty sad, I hope they see the error of their ways.

I think you're being a little harsh, TC. If someone didn't know anything about the Underground Railroad except its name, why wouldn't you think it was a real railroad that ran underground. Most people, when they hear about it, probably ask, "was it really underground?" and then they learn what it really was.
