I need help here!

Okay. I haven't had a girlfriend since 2nd grade, lol.

I have been getting awfully lonely and there is this girl I like. I have been friends with her for a very long time.

When I tell her that I like her, she says she loves me.... like a brother.

I don't understand! And now she has a boyfriend.

Did she just reject me? It there no chance at all? Should I just move on?

I'm sorry... I'm just such a noob at this stuff. I ran out of people to talk to about this so... it's up to GameSpot!

Maybe it is because I'm ugly or something because I am really nice to her.

I'd suggest that you look for someone else, and try to leave the friendship intact. It's a cliche, but there really are 'more fish in the sea'. I'm guessing your in high school? Relationships there generally don't last too long anyway, whereas a friendship probably would.Dubiosity

I was pretty much in the same situation as you not too long ago. It's extremely unlikely that there is a chance, the best thing you can do is accept what happened, and just move on. awesomeface

Best friends which turn into relationships generally don't work out very often. I went down that path, and it lasted about a month :|

We're still good friends though, so it's all good.

I think she is just playing with me, but she does weird things sometimes like....

I think you should not just move to a different girl so shortly after one rejects you. That's almost like the first one didn't even matter.

And asking a girl out is incredibly easy 'Hey, want to go out some time?' On the other hand, it's the hardest thing in the world to actually get up the nerve to do it :).

Also, I wouldn't start out with 'I love you'. That's comin' on a bit strong bud. Tone it down a notch or two.

however let me give you some advice there are three possible outcomes to you problem the first two most people know about and list and they are she says (hurrah) and the second is she says no (try to keep it under wraps that you asked her out) the third is something you shoud never let happen and that is being so afraid she will say no that you dont ever ask so dont ever do that.

Ahh, hello there Paul.

Sorry to hear about your situation, a very good friend of mine is in the exact same one. Yeah, it tears away at your heart to know that you can't be with her romantically. The best thing you can do is try your hardest to stop seeing her in that way, and just fully enjoy the time spent together because its the probably the closest she will let you get to her. But its not all so bad, brother>BF.
