some time ago I did a post asking what's it like ordering from online for clothes and hate shopping. Well the other day I ordered my first jumper which I ordered online and ordered small. Fits perfect which I was most worried about. This brings to the reason why I hate shopping. Today I went to a store and spent £100 on clothes but the thing is I am 38 but got to shop in children section as nothing else fits. I'm 5ft 3" and weigh 46KG. On most of the labels it had 13 year old small. That's 25 year difference. I also bought a cap and person serving said. It is junior size I said yup I no. Most people think I'm about 16 to 18 years old and shopping in the 13 year old section doesnt help. I just hate shopping for clothes I prefer the dentist.

yea I hate shopping for clothes as well. I'm really tall and skinny so it can be a challenge to find stuff that fits (it seems most clothing manufacturers assume that as people get taller they also get wider). mostly its just really boring and I hate doing it.

the worst for me is shoe shopping though, having to rely on someone to go get shoes in different sizes, different types etc. its just a nightmare. I don't think I've bought any shoes (apart from hiking boots) for over 3 years and all my shoes are falling apart at this point, literally held together by glue.

Funny thing is, I'm still wearing my old clothes from High School after 2005 lol.

But yes, shopping for new clothes isn't all that fun and I hate going to those fitting rooms just to try a par one at a time.

I hate having to pay to park just to shop for clothes, it's pretty expensive where I live. Literally £3 to park only 1 hour. That's daylight robbery!

Aside from that, I like shopping for clothes when it's not busy. I prefer shopping at stores than online since I can see the physical thing and quality wise.

No kidding, clothes shopping is such a chore. Online is okay, but getting the right sizes can be hit or miss.

My wife is way more in tune with fashion so she picks stuff for me when needed. Can't stand shopping for clothes.

Yeh my girlfriend tends to pick me up a t-shirt or two if she's out shopping.

If I go clothes shopping myself, it's usually on my own so it's quicker and more streamlined.

One thing I forgot to mention. I do in fact shop for shoes and I find it to be very easy to do then shopping for clothes. Shoes are no brainier here.

Oh, I agree with you guys. I hate shopping for clothes at stores because this purchase very long and uncomfortable. I spend a lot of time for searching useful clothes and using a dressing room. But I prefer this way because I cannot check things online.

The thing I hate about clothes shopping is that the selection is usually very limited. I'll have a specific idea in mind of what I want but can never find it.

Shopping for clothes does indeed suck. I'm average to pretty thin, so I can find stuff. It's just that I don't like anything I find. I think I was born too late. I hate today's fashion.

I feel your pain. Being 5’3” sucks for clothes. Nothing fits me pant wise. Everything is too long and all my pants rip at the bottom.

I am not going to spend $10-15 per pants to get the hemmed either.

I actually hate shopping for clothes. Although I have small amount of money for cheap clothes, I find clothes shopping a pain in the arse. I just can't stand accompanying my sister to buy her own clothes even for only 5 minutes. It's pretty boring as hell.

I would never order clothes online, since I'm not sure how they would fit or look in person. The exception to that is graphic shirts on rare occasion, since all of those seem to fit just fine.

Usually I get the same kind of pants , so I don't really have to try them on, but I just go get them in store. If I were to get something different, it would be a fitting room chore.

Should probably mention that I have very basic style and don't shop for expensive brand-name clothing. So I am usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy, sometimes a button-up overshirt if I want to look nicer. My friends always criticize the shoes I wear, but they fit me well. If I were some artsy person that is an expert at dressing himself, then it would be a lot more work and I would have to try on a lot more stuff.

shop online at Asian stores, my misses is 4'8, its really the only place for her to get clothes, like stores sometimes will have her size but she needs to be quick otherwise they sell out

Clothes these days are beyond overpriced.

A decade ago I could get a pair of jeans for $20. Today, the same brand costs me $60-70. What happened? Good thing I'm the same size I was a decade ago.

Most of the time I can't find T shirts that I like usually with stuff from vid games or movies or metal. Jeans are easier to buy though haven't found a pair of black ones yet. Most stores in UK have some really generic mainstream crap if you want anything cool you have to order online.

I love it but didn’t when I was a skinny-fat shlub with twig arms, a gut, and a shaved head. When I started working out heavily and grew out my hair, I started to love it since literally everything looks good on me now.

@omegamaster: That's it! I had to pay $80 for 3 hours of parking where I'm from once!!
