Well, in film the Cyborgs hardly ever seem to be happy with their metal bodies, they want a fleshy body type. The only thing I see to be of benefit (as a robot) is durability while participating in hard labor. Sex as a robot probably will be like Jack hammering, or watching pistons in a engine. If you like it rough it may be the thing to do, but I prefer the more spongy and sensual feel, tbh.

Only way I would ever be happy with a robot body is if the bodies were like the ones in ghost in the shell :P Being able to swap bodies with your partner, change your parts if you had the money, surf the net throughout your mind. Not to mention how crazy it would be for typing :P Plus it would be fun to be able to explore the world without fear of sickness, or injury

Not true! If you've watched ghost in the shell there could still be murder, Viruses would be eliminated, but computer viruses would be the new thing! We could have faulty programs fry people's brains, and mechanical issues occur, so death is still possible :P

It will slowly get there. Starting with replacement parts, implants and such. I see Deus Ex as pretty close to the reality we are heading to. But we'll see since government has a large part to play in what will actually happen.
