How tall are you, do you wish you were taller/shorter?

First off, am I right in saying, 5.5 ft is the same as 5 ft 6 in? Most people who state their height the Canadian/American way go by the latter right? If thats the case, I'm more "tall" that I thought I was. Anyway, I'm 5'6 (about 167-168 cm, 1.6 m). I always wished I was a bit taller.

I'm 6'3" if I stand up straight but I tend to look about 6'1" due to hunching over.

There are few times when I wish I was shorter, but when I do wish I shorter, I really wish I was.

I don't know anyone that says they are 5.5 feet tall just like I don't anyone that says it's 7.5 O'clock...you generally say "half" or something like that.

So I'd sooner say you're five and a half feet tall before saying you're 5.5 feet tall.

I'm 181cm tall. Wouldn't mind an additional couple of cm but I'm content as it is.

I'm 5'8", and pretty happy with it. Most things are designed for people my height.

I'm the exact same height as you and I never wished I was taller. Bigger people are just too big is how I see it. But it pisses me off when I can't find something in my size, and it happens a lot. From clothes to bicycle frames.

Never seen or heard of 5.5 feet. 5.5 feet is not the same as 5ft6in. If you want to sound "taller", try measuring yourself in the morning. You'd be surprised when you measure yourself in the morning vs evening.

No I just looked it up again. How many inches in a foot? 12, whats half of 12? 6. 5.5 ft, 5'6" , first one the decimal number is half a foot, next one is half foot in inches.

Not mad tall or anything but I've got pretty long nerves, hence slower impulses, which gives the impression of height. A lot of people think I'm very tall on the phone.

Sometimes I do wish I was shorter, so that I'd have faster impulses and a lower centre of gravity. I might have been a kung fu master. Meh, you've got to work with what you're given.

You're probably right. I'll be transparent, I am rubbish when it comes to the metric conversions - was never good at it in school.

In the world of height, you're definitely 5'6". I tend to follow feet and inches, or centimeters.

5'4" when i was young it bothered me a bit as i was pretty much always the shortest in my class.

I’m 6’3 and happy with my height. Wouldn’t want to change whatsoever. I do find it difficult finding shirts that fit well usually, a lot of trial and error as sometimes I’m an XL sometimes I’m a large.

5'10. Would like to beat my dad's 6', but aint happening.

I'm 5'9. I thought my height was enough until I reached college. Would really love to add another 3 inches in my height if possible.

My height is just shy of 6'. Like 5'11 and 1/2

Unfortunately I have an extremely long torso and short arms, so I often get called T-rex lol.

If I could change one thing, i would just want to be a bit more evenly proportioned.

I'm extremely susceptible to back issues when I play any sort of sports requiring lunging/leaningike badminton, tennis, etc.

i'm 5'9, but wish I was 6ft, or even 5'11. I think thats the sweet spot. Anything bigger than 6'2 is a pain in the ass. But yeah, as an adult I could care less about my height, if anything I wish I had a better personality and a comedians humor...it would have helped get a lot more pussy.
